What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That's a nice looking folder there, interesting!

Had my Olive wood Opinel Slim along for the ride today, used it recently on lunch the other day slicing up a thick sandwich, made a possible messy lunch into a neat and tidy one ;)

Jack - thanks for the compliment. It's nice to see the Joker getting some pocket time.
Pete - interesting tale and very persuasive Peanut.
Mike - nice knives. Hopefully the weather will improve for you soon.
Mostho - lovely Carl Schlieper.
Bloefield - love the Old Timers.
Andi - I have the same Scout but with just the single Sheepsfoot. I think I like yours better.
Kris - beautiful Languiole.
Primble - thank you, I'm glad you liked the old Case Tested I carried yesterday. Did I miss what you're carrying today, or were you totin' around all those John Primbles today? ;)
Daddyo16 and Ribeyeguy - handsome knives.
arizonaranchman - two of my favorite GEC patterns you're carrying today.
Woodrow - nice choices today.
Duane - handsome knife. I put hot sauce on my fried and scrabbled eggs, but until seeing your photo, never thought about putting it on boiled eggs. I'm going to have to give that a try. :)
No Agenda - I like that grey pearl acrylic more each time I see it.
xceptnl - looks to be plenty of life left in that Colonial to me.
Jon - stunning scales on your coffin jack.
Paul - very creative photo of your 66.
Gary - the ebony Norfolk is one of my favorite collaboration knives to date.
G2 - I really like the olive wood on your Opinel.
Armando - terrific patina on your Day's Work Charlow.
Brian - awesome photo!

Lots of wonderful knives posted again today. I carried this 1910-1930 Brantford Cutlery Co. with me today.

All these today, though I'm trying to get down to one. (Not counting the big Vic SAK on my belt.)

Buck 303, Italian Stanley soddie, Western stockman, Boker 2-blade "stockman", little Laguiole.
The Boker has my favorite pair of blades, but saves little in weight or bulk over a 3-blade stockman. But the Western has funny-colored handles (green and brown laminated, in case you can't tell). The Buck is plenty, but it isn't very pretty. On the other hand, I don't worry about messing it up. The Italian is still new and interesting, and the Lag I just got today ($10 at an estate sale).

Nothing to do with "need", of course.

Thanks Stephen! That's a wonderful looking 100 year old knife. I'm always looking for vintage knives at the bidding place , but I'm afraid that GEC has got me spoiled with their fit and finish.

@ Brett, Adorable daughter Brett...I love seeing pictures of parents interacting with their children, so so important:thumbup: Time flies my friend so spend as much time as God allows because in a blink of an eye they are all grown up and out of the house:o

Not a bad thing but another chapter is all in the great book of life:)

Beautiful Stockman as well Brett:thumbup::p

Thanks Paul. I have a saying about parenthood, "I thought I was treasuring it enough and then I realized I could never treasure it enough." One of the reasons I love this side of the forum is because of the family friendly atmosphere. So, I thought I would share a bit.

Todd - Nice Northwoods sir. Love the bone on that one.
