What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ditto on the mini-trapper jack, Paul, I'm still salivating over the mark side bone on that one! Reminiscent of some of the best amber dyed stag I've seen.

Paul, that '40-64 is awesome!!! NICE!!

KBA, I love the single-blade Diamond Jack 48 - very sleek

OH, That old Buck stockman is a beauty :)

Prime77, What's that bone color on your 6375 large Stockman next to the Sheepfoot 15? Chestnut bone?? Looks great!

I'm following your yellow 3375 closely and curious how it holds up to the environment you're using it in. Are thise chemicals reeking havoc on the knife? I can see def patina and the delrin scales show what looks like some staining - from the chemicals?

arizonaranchman- The chemicals have made it patina a good bit but most of it is from epoxy and fiberglass goo. We also use a lot of foam and paint as well. I wouldn't say that they are totally reeking havoc on the knife but definitely making it age a ton faster than all of my other knives that get used for everyday uses. I wear latex gloves a lot at work and am always needing to cut something, so pretty much every time I go for my knife my hands are coated in sticky stuff and it goes on the knife and stays until it dries. I've been using acetone on it at the end of the day to try and help it out a bit but it only gets the fresh stuff off of it.

Great shots! I'm still trying to nail down all the different jigging types... Is that one corncob jigging? Looks really good!

Thanks Mike:thumbup: not sure of the type of jigging but I have a corncob jigged CASE that's different than this type:o

Wow! That is a sweet little knife.

Thanks Woodrow, I'm likin this one;)

Paul - Congrats, that's a stunning mini-trapper!

Thanks as well Stephen...I wish the technique was still obtainable to achieve this look of bone today.

GEC-built, Scagel Fruitport Wharnie. The best-ever ideation of that #48 frame.
Always loved that Scagel. Just a great looking knife.

I've just dropped one of my favorites in my pocket for the day; Buck 303 Cadet made in 1990. OH
A classic worker for sure. Should handle everything with ease today.

ohh - and Jennifer - love your baby blues - did I really just say that :confused::confused: - oops - got to go - the phone is ringing. :D

Thanks. Really enjoying the addition of a little color to the line-up. Yellow has been so popular in our house, but really liking the blue hues - or teal. Nice carry today. Very lovely Charlow.

Eureka today.

That is a great knife. The coloring of the bone is amazing and your pics capture it well. Thanks for sharing.

Been out for a long walk today, had these 3 with me :)

Those appear to be great companions for a walk - long or short!

All this barlow talk of hate has inspired my knife selection process day to day :)
Another very nice Charlow.

So many great knives posted today. Started the day with the peanut. Then after the mail, decided to add one to the pockets. Thanks, Robin. The knife and sheath are amazing!
My apologies for the cell phone pics.

OK, now I'm convinced that you are just a photoshop wizard and all of these beautiful Old Timers don't really exist. How many do you have? Do you have a family picture of all of your Old Timers? If not, you should take one and post it for all to enjoy. Another beautiful looking knife.

Heh:) Here's another Musky for you. I'll try to get an decent family shot together. Lots a 34's 33's etc etc.
