What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This is a recent acquisition and so far I am pleased.

Case "Rough Black" (synthetic) Humpback #63046. Though no longer produced in this iteration, Case said "its nearly indestructible black synthetic handle material meets classic jigging in the new reincarnation designed to be just as tough in use and looks as the original 'Gum Fuddy' knives which were borne out of World War II when more traditional handle materials were scarce." My example's springs are almost too stiff. I'm really jonesing for a Case Canoe (probably my favorite pattern) in Rough Black. Link.

Your knives and pics are wonderful today Jack.:)

An old red bone XX whittler:

Thank you my friend, you're very kind. That's a lovely knife, but I must have been staring at that old lure for 5 minutes! :D

I've only had this Canal Street Barlow a few days, but can tell this will be a pairing I carry often. ;)

Very nice :)

Great-looking knife

Man, I'm really starting to feel sorry for the abuse of this knife so far. I've only had it 3 days and clean it with acetone at the end of every work day and it is still really taking on some "character". At least it helps me make some cool stuff, and am thinking at the end of its days, it might be kinda cool to say that my worn out old knife is entombed in one of these or some other crazy something somewhere in the country.

Mike - that's a really wonderful looking Charlow.

Jack - I hope you and Scruff had a good time today.

Primble - stunning scales on that whittler.

Whetstone39 and arizonaranchman - are the two of you color coordinating today? ;) Two outstanding barrows, and the orange SAK's are terrific too.

Sonnemann - the 6332 is such a terrific pattern and yours is an outstanding example.

Todd - two beautiful Freeport Jacks. I can see why you'd want to carry both.

No Agenda - the Heritage Jack is my favorite S&M pattern. I really love mine.

Rssmith_77 - your photo reminds me that I need to carry my spearpoint 92 more. It's a fantastic knife and the single blade is so slim. Very nice.

jacktrades_nbk - very nice photo.

Jennifer - wow! What a colorful lineup today. How could anyone not be happy carrying those around? :)

powernoodle - terrific photo and nice Case too.

Rob - 3 days? You're doing a terrific job breaking your stockman in. I suspect that as it continues to develop 'character' that you'll appreciate it that much more.

Ken - that photo always wows me.

combatjiujitsu - very nice photo of a couple equally nice knives.

Woodrow - not sure about the lighting, but your photo is making me thirsty. Back in a minute...

jrtodd46 - I hope you get to put that ebony radio jack to work when you get off work.

I'm carrying this old John Primble India Steel Works jack again today.
