What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen.

Whetstone - St. Louis is a great city. Going to hit the antique row tomorrow and see what's out there. If you know of any cutlery honey holes, and don't mind sharing, I would love an email from you.
Gevo - The weather has been perfect. My daughter ran in the park for hours and I was able to get a few pics for you. I'll try to email them tomorrow.
Todd - I'll keep an eye out for another for you. But, if it's in ebony Im gonna grab it and run. ;)

JW85 - that is a looking knife. Looks like it has a great patina as well.

If you get a chance, take a 20 minute drive to Grand Prarie Knives, always a good selection of GEC, Queen, and Case. Well worth the trip! :)

Great pic!

Charlow for me today. Making a "swedish candle" for my upcoming weekend camping trip with my son.

Looking forward to it, my friend!

Well you sure know how to show up in style!!

Stunned by the riches lately! But two especially catch my eye

Redbeardo Excellent Queen Stockman in Zebra, I too have heard they are stopping this option, madness in my view! Must get a Whittler in that fnish.

JW 85 CASE's Bonestag 6.5 is another scale choice that's long gone Looks very fine on that Large Stockman, I had the chance of one about 8 years ago but dithered. Regret that.

Thanks, Will

...although I've a #15 that's starting to compete and a RR canoe for beach days

Thanks willgoy, it's a crying shame they are not going to produce any more zebra wood knives. So glad I was able to pick one up.

With the CASE Large Stockman today - I knife I foolishly use too rarely. :(
A great knife I was gifted by our fellow forum member Ed (MODOC Ed) some years ago.

I'm carrying this stag John Lloyd in honor of the generous donation made by John for the forum knife. I'll protect it from damage while in pocket with my new pocket slip made by Gunstock Jack and gifted to me by Primble. Those three guys do a lot to make this a great place!

This deserves a repeat because its a painting of sorts ......the picture, the knife (wow!!), the sheath (priceless), and the spirit.

Wish I could find 'trash' like that!!:D:D:eek:

Gevonovich Good autumn hues about that Barlow and many thanks for your compliments. The pouch jone made is just the job for protecting & stowing a compass in my walking pack.

Regards, Will
