Very cool knife!

Thank you! I like it a lot. The inlayed anchor ("Anker") gives it a unique look and this blade shape is very useful for precise cutting. They are mostly hand made in Solingen and for the quality they are very well priced.

You all have given me a deeper appreciation for traditional knives--they have a life of their own in so many ways. I've been carrying and using a GEC #42 Trapper for well over a year, everyday--and over the course of the days and months I watched it evolve. The wood has darkened, the incredibly stiff back springs have a given up a little of their pull (nearly 9's now 7-8's), and the patinas on both blades seem to tell small parts of a long story more with each passing day. A few years back I thought it was ridiculous to carry a traditional over a modern folder--I did not expect such a severe 180 turn in my taste and thought. You are all to blame. Thank you. Anthony

Some pictures.

Beautiful Gevo! That luck will have to carry over to another day. The business hours around here are short so we spent the day at the zoo. Not a real fan of snakes but this guy was a beast. Had a lot of fun.

You guys are carrying some beauties today!

KBA: Thanks for looking out. Don't worry, if you find a ebony one, you can always give me that jigged bone. I have no shame in seconds!

 Maybe...

Dropped Eric's Jack in my pocket today. What a great little knife!

^^^^That Jack has some amazing stag on it! You picked well!

Hope you all have a wonderful evening.

Oh...Some beautiful Charlows gentlemen.

Anthony ~ I second your post and am thankful for all on here as well.

I shall be carrying these two today (when i get up in the morning, it's 12.35am here!) ;)

Man working in exhibits is fun but really hard on knives. Not one other guy in the whole shop carry's a "real" knife, every one of them carries a modernized one hand opening razor blade. I will take the sheepsfoot on my stockman any day over one of those, even if that means it gets covered in the nasty. Today I was working around a ton of foam and paint. At least the foam is pretty close in color to the yeller delrin.

My new Queen was safely tucked away inside my pocket untouched by the nasty, until it was time for lunch or I had somewhat clean hands. Really loving this knife.
