What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just great pictures everyone---love this thread:thumbup:

Primbles pictures are not only beautiful but inspiring---I see his red bone CASE knives and thought to myself---it's a shame to just let mine sit.

So this one was carried today:thumbup: I'll admit I didn't have a heavy work load today (had a cortisone shot in each shoulder @ our local clinic) so I knew it may not see any strenuous use;)

Finally put one of the #48 Improved Trappers in my pocket. Nothing crazy so far, just cut up an apple and opened a UPS box. Here it is when it was new.

Very beautiful knife.;)

Very nice picture of some very nice things.;):)

Nice specimen, Paul. I'd baby it too. :)

Man, the colors on those older Case's are something else.

akula83, I am with you in regards to CASE' ole red bone covers, I find myself mesmerized by them:thumbup:

Paul that is a great group!

The 48 Diamond Jack once again for me today.

Thank you Brett, love your 48 but your picture scares me a little:o looks like a long drop:)

Thanks Todd, old camera but the "macro" setting works well on it:thumbup:

I carried my old Remington Barlow today

Again, a beautiful knife and picture Primble, I love how the gorgeous covers stand out against the weathered board background yet the patina of the blade and coins works so well with the grayed wood:thumbup: and thank you for the knife compliment;)

Spent most of the morning trimming seams and painting foam trees until they figured out I'm really into metal fabrication and then I was welding for the rest of the day. Of course my yella Cv stockman was on duty as well as my new sheepsfoot prison style shank saw. I doubt the duct tape rag handle would count as traditional.

Wonderful knives posted again today everyone. I usually carry one knife at a time, but today I went with two, and probably will again tomorrow. :)

Wow Paul and Primble ! That red bone and that Remington are stellar! I too am carrying a jumbo stockman. This Queen Cattle King arrived just in time for Wooden Wednesday. Wow this is one beautiful beast!

But I'm also carrying this Opinel... Ya know just in case things get really rough. LOL.
