What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

And a wonderful job he did. Always a pleasure to see that knife.

I went small today with A.G.'s titanium lockback.

I couldn't agree more on the sentiment regarding Jeff's S&M, just love that knife

Nate, I have looked at those AG Russell titanium lockbacks more times than I can count, yet never got around to grabbing one to test drive, it does look like a very sweet little "disappear in the pocket" knife, with the usual plenty of blade to frame ratio that I love about so many of his offerings

I did just slip this one into my pocket for tomorrow, I just love the 73's overall size and shape. It is one of GEC's finest offerings no matter the cover materials, hand filling, yet not a pocket anchor. This one is special to me by having two of my favorite blades in a Jack configuration, and knowing that Jeff modded it into it's present form just imparts a certain added appeal, to me, that fact imparts a bit of connection, and sentimentality to this particular knife. BTW, Jeff, my potassium permanganate has shipped so by next weekend, I should have something to show ;)

Keeping my 1975 Case XX model 6383 red bone whittler in my pocket today:

Yeah, I had done the same. Always spotted it in the catalog but never bought one. Glad I finally took the plunge. Think I've had it almost four years. Nice value for money given the materials. The handle is 3" and the blade is 2.25" from tip to handle with only a tiny bit of the edge lost to a sharpening choil. So just about a 75% blade to handle ratio.

Rainy and rather cold here today. Not much going on other than listening to some music.

Jack - there's something about that Queen Canoe that I really like.

Invoice - lovely pair of Queens.

Sean - that's a wonderful photo of your long pull, spear point 15.

Primble - you have so many wonderful knives to choose from that I have no idea how you make your choice each day, but if any of your knives deserves to be carried two days in a row, that 6383 certainly does.

Gevonovich - Wow, that's just an extraordinary old knife. You've been on quite the roll lately. I have to wonder if you haven't discovered a 'Primble-esque' rabbit-hole of your own from which you're finding all these wonderful old knives lately? ;) :)

Daddyo16 and Jeff - two very nice Case knives you guys are carrying today.

Dan - nice pairing. I really like the old Robeson pen knife.

Paul - you should be well equipped with those three today. I like each of them and the sheath. By the way, your photos look fine to me... have you seen any of mine? ;) :)

bladeboss - I like your Pioneer and coins, especially the civil war era grocery store coin. Very nice!

Paul - a terrific photo. Enjoy the evening.
