What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks, Gev, it sees it's share of pocket time. If it was 3¾" instead of over 4", I might not carry anything else. It's just a little big for some situations.

yes sir... the Yellow Rose of Texas. In honor of being in Tyler, TX earlier today!

I re-claimed my chopping stump from the fungi today, and worked up a pretty good sweat with the other pieces of steel :)

WOW Duane - indeed you did re-claim that stump - looks like you took it to that fungi.:eek::thumbup::D

Getting stuck in! This old Camillus EZ-Open was a fine present from Duncan that came with his incredible GAW of a Blood Red Charlow, renewed thanks for that!:thumbup: This old knife has a lot of time ahead of it and is adjusting well to chilly climes :D Regards, Will

That is a wonderful old knife Will. I have one similar to it and love it. So nice of Duncan to sneak in that knife. ;);)

Happy Saturday everyone! Enjoying the long weekend off for Thanksgiving, and have this tagging along with me today:

Primble

I think I will stick with the old Chambers today

Thank you Gevo and you should already know how special I think that Chambers is - it has all the right stuff.:)

I wonder what that style of bolster is called??:D More worms - anyone? :D

E.C. Chambers - kind of agree that it has a ring to it that might be consistent with another hardware competitor. I will ask my Primble kinfolk what they think!!??:D

Paul - very nice pictures of some wonderful knives - I see nothing wrong with the pictures you posted!!:)

Primble Thank you! It was good of Duncan to let such a good old knife go, there's a man of honour for you:thumbup::thumbup: Here's another shot of it goring a pine-tree, he still likes work this old boy.:D

Regards, Will

Yes, Jack, the Bose Teardrop is the slimmest of that pattern I've seen recently, and the zulu spear makes for a very utilitarian single blade which is eminently pocketable.

I was lucky enough to have a Shot Show exclusive in ebony gifted to me by Stephen, it certainly is a very pocketable knife, classy-looking too. I think I'm going to carry it today together with my Sheepsfoot Charlow :)

As I wait for my 2014 Case Bose Ebony Lockback Wharncliffe Whittler, that's on pre order, I've put this 2005 Case Bose Lock back in my pocket.

I'm recovering from poker night with some black coffee this morning.....

Some great knives lately, hope everyone is having a good weekend! Got these two newbies today. Queen stockman in zebra wood and a Bear & Son toothpick in walnut. I decided to give Bear another try after giving my Bear made Mooremaker away a while back to someone who appreciated it more than me. It was just a sorry excuse for a pocketknife, I know it was an economy lockback with yellow scales but it was just BAD in so many ways. This new Bear & Son knife is a heck of a lot nicer knife, good snap, good fit and finish and just well put together.

NIce stockman and toothpick. been eyeing the bear and son toothpick. Is that the 3"? hard to get the scale, but it seems like thats a Queen #9 right?

You thought you was the cool fool and never could do no wrong
Had everything sewed up tight. How come you lay awake all night long?
