What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

In the interests of full disclosure, Andi did send a couple my way. Two! I was set-- one to keep safe, one to carry for luck and kinship. I then gave one away to a friend here, and almost instantly realized I couldn't locate the other. I'd like to think it's here somewhere (other than the part where it keeps me looking, in vain), but cannot find it. I get kind of sick thinking about it, honestly.

Euros schmuros! :p ;)

Hey thanks guys. Liam I just realized your from Chicago too. Cool. Where can I find some old pocket knives in this town?

There is usually a big flea market up at Allstate Arena. The last one is on the 26th of this month.

I sometimes find a gem at some of the antique shops. There is a biggish one on Irving Park over near Kimball where I've found a few - but rarely bargains. There is a big junk/antique store on Western just north of Lawrence, which looks promising, but I've not really dug around there yet.

Othrewise, as far as I can tell - they are just gathering at my house. :D

That Case is a beaut! Excuse my ignorance, but if you know where I might source such a knife, an email would be appreciated. I've started a meager collection of single bladed jacks. In fact, I already have an example of the yellow camel Fremont like yours!

Holy patina Batman! That's awesome Paul!

Great knives, and even better pictures fellas! I'm so jealous. My pictures are always so terrible! I need a better camera than what my phone has. And better technique as well. And better subject matter. And a darkroom.... All of this great photography just floors me!

Sure... it is a Case 1103. I think they stopped making them a while back. This one is like from 1970's. I found mine on another cite. If you look... you can find them in good shape. I have to admit this one is in amazing shape. Thanks.

By the way... I could not find your account available to send a PM (private message) or email too. you are welcome to PM me.

So many great knives and pics everyone!

Got to get some newer picks of this knife......I like it a lot.

We are so blessed. My parents and brother's family are here as well as my mother-in-law. It's been a great trip already and we're here through next weekend. Thank you for your kind words.
