Today it will be this Böker Whittler in Apaloosa Bone. But I can't see myself getting out much, there's a wall of rain outside and the forecast is the same all day....:grumpy:
Indoors is the place to be for now.

Two old boys from Sheffield today :)

Have a great Sunday everyone

 Great picture.

Was surprised seeing these in the mail, thinking they wouldn't arrive until next month. :)

Thanks Blade Forums and all those involved in making the 2014 Blade Forums knife happen.

Visiting my hometown Chicago. Here's my calf roper stockman looking down on the freight lines that run through the middle of the Art Institute.

Sorry about the weather, but what a stunning knife! I am glad all over again that you figured out the picture thing-- and that you have such fine knives to show. Not necessarily in that order. :)

I was already thinking of carrying this one today-- Boker whittler clad in Beer Barrel wood-- and your image confirmed my inclination.

Great little knives, these.

Love the photo! The tallest building on the island where I live is a lighthouse. The calfroper is a looker too!

I'm taking this with me again today

Nice little lock back! I've seen a few of Al's knives and been very impressed with them. Thanks for showing it off.

Thank you, Peregrin. This was my first Wharncliffe and it is a great dress folder. Al has a great product. There are actually two Al Warren's making blades on the NW coast! One in Portland, Oregon making fixed blades primarily. Then there is the one featured in my post who operates out of CA and does a little bit of everything, with noteable classic folders always in stock.

Thank you for your kind words Sarah. Point&shoot is all it is but it will have to do me.

The Böker Whittler is a pattern I like very much, shape, compact and variety of blades guarantee it getting a regular outing. Their C75 carbon seems good for what I need as well. Pretty keen on their small Stockman pattern as well, no high riding hump of a Sheepfoot on that one. Still keeping my eye open for an Owl Euro for you but no luck so far, all local Finnish ones, the odd Estonian, German and French ones, holiday season of trips to Greece must be over!

All the best, Will

It's doing just fine; couldn't ask for more. :) (The lens on my own point-and-shoot has suffered damage to its reflective coating, resulting in too much glare etc. when I try to use it. Hence, iPhone photos with the various limitations. :()

I agree with your thoughts about Boker's Whittler (I've not had one of their stockman knives in hand, though I admire Pete's yellow one). It grazes well, too.

Aw, thanks! In the interests of full disclosure, Andi did send a couple my way. Two! I was set-- one to keep safe, one to carry for luck and kinship. I then gave one away to a friend here, and almost instantly realized I couldn't locate the other. I'd like to think it's here somewhere (other than the part where it keeps me looking, in vain), but cannot find it. I get kind of sick thinking about it, honestly.
