Thanks to Jon, "ThievesLikeUs", I have my first custom slipjoint - a Ken Coats Easy Open spear with longpull and double shields. Loving it!!

Thanks ALLHSS. Some nice knives in your post as well. The pics were taken at Beechwood Farms which is not far from Hartwood. Check it out sometime if you haven't before. It's a bird sanctuary and nature preserve. Lots of nice trails.

Huh, what a coincidence. I have been interested in Beechwood Farms for a while, and may go there tomorrow for a halloween thing. Looks great!

I'm not really "carrying" anything right now, as I'm doing some work in my room, but I have my BladeForums knife and this with me:

Linus Exceptional jigging on that one and a super large Spear. You must be very pleased indeed, I would be if I had it!

Thanks, Will

Saw Bonzodog's and couldn't resist! A somewhat neglected knife in my collection which deserves more attention.

Love the scales and shield on that Coats knife. I'm not a big fan of spearpoint but would love to see those scales and shield with a sheepsfoot.

This for me today as I used the coping blade on my #85 to chisel out wood for a door strike that needed to be moved in so the door shut correctly:thumbup:
