What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

No point mentioning those bats, I thought. The poor guy will see them soon enough.

I love that Ka-Bar!

The car suddenly veered off the road and we came to a sliding halt in the gravel. I was hurled against the dashboard. My attorney was slumped over the wheel. “What’s wrong?” I yelled....

We can't stop here. This is bat country.

I have been carrying a (Boker) Henckels 4 blade stockman for a few years now. I really love having the long slender clip blade along with the other standard stockman blades. A great blade selection that I find very useful! So I bought a back up just in case I ever lose or wear out my most carried knife. The new one has a nice blade etch, too.

Nice HST reference! The knife is cool too...

Great pictures, badexample!

Thanks everyone. The Ka-bar has a well deserved place in the rotation. The copper patina just gets better and better. (Eric if you're reading this I need a single blade version of this wonderful knife!)

And great to see we have some other Raoul Duke fans here.

[watching Dr. Gonzo leave]
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Linus Exceptional jigging on that one and a super large Spear. You must be very pleased indeed, I would be if I had it!

Thanks, Will

Great-looking knife Linus

It is a beauty of a piece Linus. Congratulations.

Today (and most of this week) I have been carrying this Au Sabot that a friend gifted me earlier this year. I may have told this before, but this gift brought me back to traditionals and I have not looked back yet.

Jack, looking forward to Todays work and pictures! Hope your forum knife arrives soon:D

Thanks pal :)

Work had me traveling this week and I'm incredibly happy to be home again. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I carried this wee knife for the past few days.

Reminds me to dig my Ebony one out! This is a kind of French regional 'Barlow' with an imposing Spear blade, zulu type? The snap on this one is not to be messed with either, a regular guillotine that could chop off a digit:D  Bit of a Thug of a knife, strong robust with all stainless fit, mine has a shield. Finish is a bit crude but this somehow suits it!

Thanks, Will
