• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today I went old-school (for me, anyway) with a Buck 110. Of course, these examples are the 50th Anniversary editions (and very well done):

@ Derek, I really like the 110's:thumbup:

@ Kevin, great picture and a great knife:thumbup:

@ Kirby, the TC Barlow you posted yesterday looks like a great work companion:thumbup:

Primble, that Barlow is a honey of a knife!

Thank you Duane - I really like it. :)

Carrying the GEC #72 in burnt orange jigged bone today.

A real beauty of a knife.;)

Had to break out my new Pearl G.W. from Sheffield England to open a few packages......:D

Very nice IXL and nicely pictured.:)

Thank you Primble---I do like the Saw Cut an awful lot:) You have that Barlow looking really good---Primbleization does apply;)

@ Todd, I saw your Abalone Marlow and what a STUNNER:thumbup:

Thank you Paul and I agree about the Todd Isa Abalone Northfield. :);)

Those Anniversary Bucks look really nice!:thumbup::)

This Case Humpback Stockman with ebony covers and Tru-Sharp blades came today. So, obviously it is now in my pocket. Cute little bugger. I'm going to borrow Mike's picture from his Collector Knives site. I likely won't have time to take pics till the weekend.

Thanks, Paul. And yes they do, Primble. Hard to believe you can still get this kind of quality - made in the USA - for only $40 with leather sheath included. Outstanding in my book!

Thanks Chris for the cool note book & the 1865 dime, now I can phone home.....

Al,
You got a classy letter / package opener with that Pearl G.W. folder.
Interesting photo, and GREAT GIFTS from slide13.
( Just don't give someone Your three cents. )

I always love seeing your knife. A Workhorse indeed! thumbup: My #79 has fancier "furniture" (lined bolsters, long pulls, grained jobillo, etc.), but there's something about the straightforward black ebony that really sets off this pattern.

As does ebony with most!

Picture taken yesterday, while money laundering at work; I'll carry it again today.

#15 Radio Knife, ebony, barehead. Of my favorite favorites, this is a favorite. :)
