What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Walked a mile back into the woods this afternoon with some companions. It'll be dark on the way out! I still can post from my resting spot!
Nice companions! Is that a Williams aperture? I miss my old Winchester 30-30, but it's still in good hands. Gifted it to my brother more than a few years back. :)

I've actually got a few lights in my pack Jack! Good thing, shouldn't be any moon tonight. I didn't hear any coyotes last night. :)

Ballenxj, it is a Williams. So much better than the buckhorn.

I've been carrying this little guy since I picked it up yesterday. Every year I go to the big box stores to find the new Buck gift tins. (my own little holiday tradition) This year, it's a cute little peanut sized trapper. Kinda different blade shapes:

Starting tonight, and probably through Thanksgiving weekend, I'll be carrying this combo. Sturdy enough if real work is needed, but classy enough for company, the Charlow would be fine on its own; only thing missing is a tiny coping blade, so the Esquire rides along, too. I'm enjoying letting the patina form naturally, and if I use it to cut up limes for the bloody marys, I'll be saying goodbye to that etch by Sunday.

Still has that "new beerlow" smell...

I gotta get me one of those! What do they call that one? What year production??

It was a custom job using a "factory second" sheepfoot barlow and a crown lifter boy's knife. Also mammoth ivory for the handles. All done for me by our friend esnyx from the forums here.

My Scout with me today.

Great knife Linus, one of my all time favorite models. I have a rust red bone two blade similar to yours but with pen. I envy the caplifter blade:thumbup:

I rec'd the forum knife and Washington jack recently but can NOT help but carry the two blade EO Scout gifted me by my friend Primble. And Primble...you are to my friend:D:thumbup:

Any one of these, although the Peanut gets the nod most often. (L-R:circa 1980 Imperial Frontier 4" Stockman x2, 1975 Case 6318 HP SS P, 1977 Case 6220 "Peanut", circa 1982 Schrade 1080T x2)
