Never seen those before, very interesting, I'm going to have to go Googling now! :D
Thanks Jack. Apparently it was part of a set of three commemorating American Coal Mining. One of the Sheepsfoots has this etch

I think the other two knives in the set are both stockmen, or possibly a stockman and a trapper?

I love this critter. Problem is, it's not out of my pocket long enough to charge up real good!

Mark - That is the problem with a solar powered POCKET knife!! Very cool concept though. :eek::eek::D:thumbup:

I'm carrying a GEC 48 today, and yes, that is a Wharncliffe on a trapper. I believe the proper name for it is "Improved" trapper. I'm glad Tony Bose decided to step outside of the box, because this GEC rendition sure is a fine piece of cutlery!

Very nice piece of cutlery there! ;):thumbup:

Schrade 194OT and Beer Scout for me today ..... again

:thumbup::thumbup::D

Great knives everyone. My new old NYKC Jack and TC Barlow. Have a great Thanksgiving!

:eek::thumbup::thumbup:;):) Who did all those diagrams? :confused::confused:;):p

Best wishes, KBA
and Happy Thanksgiving to all

Very nice pair Rachel. :thumbup::)

Brett - congratulations and best of luck! You and your family are in my prayers.

I've got the day off, and hope to spend it in part catching up on the forum. Hope everyone has a great day!

Beautiful knife Stephen and glad to see you back. :)
