What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey Paul, That TC Barlow looks great, I am really liking the yellow covers.
I had this ol' girl with me today.

Kevin the covers on that ole girl are spectacular:thumbup: I can't quite see the tang stamp, does it read Edge Mark?

Paul, the TC is a beauty! I can see why you were so excited. I am happy for you, my friend.:

I carried the Mechanic Fairmount Cutlery Co. today and it served me well with all the boxes and cutting chores:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you Gev, I'm looking forward to putting the "Day's Work" to work:o it's already tackled left over Ham from yesterday:D Glad that ole Fairmont is earning it's keep.

If that TC barlow was done with african blackwood it would easily jump to the top of my list, but that yellow is a beauty all the same!

Thanks Packer, if your forum name ties to your football team there's a BIG game comin up:thumbup:

@ Sarah, Beautiful Arno and Scout:thumbup:

@Philllll, Terrific knife Phil:thumbup:

@ AntDog, Great pictures Buddy:)

Just arrived from Evan today and I am very very pleased:thumbup:

Oh man that is killer with the spey and yellow bone. Congratulations to you and to Evan, that is some fine looking work. Keeps getting better.

Paul Im not usually a cap lifter fan but I haven't seen it along side a spey. That combo just seems right together. The yellow bone just makes it perfect. Well done and great work Evan.

Thank you Justin, Evan really is a true craftsman:thumbup:

Thank you as well Brett, I kind of seconded guessed myself decision wise after I mailed it off. Once Evan emailed the pictures it was all I needed:thumbup: I posted additional pictures in Evans custom thread.

Evan is amazing to deal with, he's a professional in every way possible:)

Bad luck Paul  I thought that Jack was for your lass?! :D

A disappointing match for me. A missed penalty in the 79th minute lost it for us :(

The Ulster ... Well y'know I'm just testing it. To make sure it works ok. Just sort of erm checking it out. On her behalf sort of thing....

:D

I'm carrying the Queen Canoe you kindly sent me today :)

And this Maserin Sodbuster

Today is a lazy day at home. I was out on my brother-in-laws birthdady party yesterday and slept quite long. (due to the tasteful beer and liquer that I got there)

But I´ll go to my favorite croatian restaurant this evening... Queen DB Barlow will be with me... :)

Paul - in a heartbeat I believe that these two beauties work very well together.

The red bone on that Henckells is just amazing!

Jack, BEAUTIFUL covers on that Canoe:thumbup:

Jeff, a great Ebony duo there buddy, talk about blade versatility;)

Paul, A great duo as well, great knife by Evan and the covers on your Congress are fantastic

Andi, Just a great looking Barlow my friend, I keep an eye for them but no luck as of yet---also, I will be getting back in touch through PM about the topic we have discussed;)

rinos, Great pictures, love those sheath's, made by you?

Bloefield, I carried the same knife for some time when I was in my twenties and it NEVER failed doing what I asked of it---some of the best steel ever made (in my opinion):o

Special occasion today so that requires a special knife:thumbup: This was gifted to me from my good friend Duncan;)

Now this sees NO hard use but the stray scarf thread that Nanc had me take care of at the last wedding we attended was simply no match for this glorious HJ:D
