What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

WFC,

Great choice, you just can't go wrong with an old Pioneer and a Conductor

Today it's this duo for me:

This is actually my son's knife. He wanted me to post a picture of it "to show all my friends". It's actually a really nice knife! 440C blade steel, and locks up like a bank vault with no play in any direction:

Those Boker Premium Lockbacks are great knives for the money.

Carrying these two today, my old Imperial BSA scout knife and the GEC Bullnose. Both are scary sharp.

Carrying a full size case soddie. Just got done cuttin up some assuage and cheese. It is a tradition we have when we set up our Christmas tree.

Those are both great looking knives! Where would one get a scout like the one in the top picture?

You have to hunt long and hard for these, they very rarely come up for sale on this forum, when they do they are usually gone with-in minutes!

These both were had on a large auction site, I paid dearly but I WANTED them bad.

As it turned out, they belonged to one of the forum members here, it sure is a small world!

The more I carry the Conductor the more and more I love it. The 2-blade Clip/Coping combo is just awesome. :)

I was starting to get that feeling. I've been looking like crazy and haven't been able to find a single one for sale. Yours sure is a beauty! Congratulations on the score!

Nice Trand, I have both that and the single blade and really like them.
Thanks Eric. The #48 Jacks are a favorite of mine and I feel Charlies DE ones are the closest to the Primble, Schrade, and Shapleigh ones.

Great looking Gabon Ebony and I feel the same way about the #33.

Beautiful!

No joke, I want one now, too!

A little advice for anyone looking into getting one of these Bokers - try to pick one in person if you can, or have the place you are ordering from hand pick one for you. (One with a good lockup)

The one they sold my son had a bit of blade wobble. We checked it out in the store. I asked them if we could swap it out for the display model (it was rock solid perfect) and they let us do that, no problem.

One thing I noticed on the #48s and even my NW Hawthorne is that they have a snappier/springier (two made up words) walk and talk than any other knife in my collection. Just fun to open and close.
