What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Paul, that is a beauty! You have another Butter and Molasses headed your way today. ;)

Has Primble tried to pry it from your paws yet buddy?!:D

@ Andi, Looks to be a faithful companion my friend, what a great TC;)

Thanks for the kind words, my friend. The TC makes a great companion, indeed and it is nice to look at as well :p :D

Love acryl covers on your cattleman´s knife - is it a John Primble??

I am trying to be polite and act like I did not see that knife Mark - savvy?? :grumpy::D

My grandfather was the king of butter and molasses - he mixed them together for his breakfast on home made biscuits and spread it on with his Russell Barlow. ;)

You will be lucky Mark if our friend Duncan does not come along and whistle you for a GROSS infraction - Yuck!! :grumpy::o:D

BTW - very nice butter and molasses knife Paul - I can't quite make out the tang stamp.:D

Andi - beautiful pic of the Charlow.:)

Curtis - wonderful picture of the Case/Bose.:)

Oops - I just heard the mail drop through the door slot - lots of Catt sounds like yeowing and scratching going on. I wonder what those two packages could have inside?:eek:

Later! :D

Been away from the forums for about 2 weeks to welcome my newborn son into the world, but I'm back to the grind now. This has been a pretty constant companion since I received it. I have something from Evan in the works that may usurp it soon though!

Thanks! Baby is doing great, we go for the 2 week checkup today. Mom is recovering. She had a 30 hour labor that ended in an emergency c-section, so she's got a long way to go, but getting better every day.

Thanks for the kind words, Primble. I don´t have the time to take a knife pic each day - it´s almost dark when I come home and dark when I leave the house. ;)

bleh, congratulations on the arrival of your son. I wish the best of health to you and your family. Good luck settling into the "new" normal daily routines. :)

Carrying this TL-29 I modded into a Barlow today.

Nice work on that TL-29. Just finished this one myself. Redone in Butterscotch Paper Micarta w/ screw driver converted to a Sheepsfoot.

Primble, The B&M is a John Primble that I'm fairly certain is a Schrade Cutco:)

Can't wait to see what feel inside the door:thumbup: BTW BEAUTIFUL old Schrade you have coming---I was chicken eying that old girl:D

No pics, but I am only a couple coats of varnish away from finishing my first opinel. This morning I decided that I was going to carry it all december long. I plan on finaly breaking the chains of pocket clips and thumbstuds. I truly love and apreciate a nice traditional, however I have become so accustomed to the conveniences of modern folders. So prepare to see the same knife from me 31 days straight.

Now bare with me. All I have to take pictures with are a crappy camera phone and a pair of shakey over caffeinated hands.

In the GEC pic it looked like there were more like 20 brazillian rosewood handles, Just a guess, I bet some brazillin rosewoods will pop up again in the future, pretty hard to get wood and all, but ya only 11 this run
