What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Andi, Was this the first morning that you had your full choice of knives? I picture you running in circles trying to fit as many as you can in your pockets. ;) :D

Tonight for the TexMas Eve BBQ and beer:

Yes, and being honest I almost knew one week before what to carry the day after the challenge... there are so many knives and just so few pockets... ;)

Carrying a pair of Stag Bucks today.

These 3 ended up with me today: Tim Steingass drop point hunter in carbon damascus and Koa wood, Claude Scott sheath with elephant inlay, Doc Hagen Lanny's Clip in desert ironwood burl and CPM 154, and a Diamond Edge Cattle knife by Tom Ploppert in stag and CPM 154.

Andi -

I'm having a brief insight into what you've been experiencing - I'm traveling for two weeks, and in a deranged fit of self-discipline while packing, I decided to only bring three () pocket knives on my travels. I must truly be a sick man, because I keep thinking about all the poor neglected knives back home, and how much I miss them. But I guess there is some value in limiting one's choices from time to time, and appreciating what you have in hand. Of course, I also brought four fixed blades along as well, so I'm not exactly "knife-impoverished"right now ....:D

Today's carry will include:

And while it won't be carried today, I'm planning on putting this to use on the grilled deer heart that will be part of the evening feast tonight:

Wow, these three are all worthy of a Christmas Carry and would be grail's for anyone of us.

Here is my carry today. No time for new pics... Busy day for me and my staff! Recycled pics! One on the belt, one in each pocket. A flipper clipped to my pocket and a .45 in the holster! Good day.

Paul, so glad you showed it closed cause I wanted to see where the notch hit in regards to the blade. Perfect, you put it right at the fat middle of that Clip! What's interesting is, you never see notches or EOs that have Clip main blades. Mostly you see EOs with either a spear or sheepfoot main. So long story short, I think you put it right where it belongs for that Clip blade to be accessible. Well done once again!

Nice knives and pics, guys!
Jerry, I just put my little Foster Darkside on my belt after seeing your pic. That should do a classy job of prepping a rib roast. I might do that myself.

A different little Ohta today.

Lots of great knives being shown on Christmas Eve, keep 'em coming folks

Gary thanks, it's a very svelte fixed blade. The sheath is working out better than I expected.
