Two great looking knives, Primble & Gev. :)
Thanks for sharing these old beauties....

Excellent knives are getting pockettime in general.

No, Sir. That´s a maker of Good Ol' England - but the blade is of swedish steel and he says it is a working knife, so Brukskniv seems to be a good name for it. A wonderful tool, in many ways. I love it as it is.
Yeah I love the picture! It's a gorgeous knife. My first fixed blade looks kinda similar and is Swedish. Will post pics when I get the chance.

WOW! Gev. That is a beauty  I was so mesmerized looking at the covers it took me a while to notice the bolster treatment. That is an impressive piece of workmanship right there!

And thanks Primble and Gev :) I love that Steri, it gets pretty regular use in the kitchen, doesn't seem to want to take on any patina though:rolleyes::)

will - that is a great looking #51 there. I believe that they discontinued the WCSB around 2005. And it is also one of the Jack style, with the Pen blade. A lot of the newer models that you see are in the Trapper style, with the long Spey blade. A great Traditional pattern:thumbup:

Jack - the Garden Gate looks like a wonderful place to spend a couple hours catching up with a friend over a pint or two... or three or four. ;) I have a feeling that the ebony lambsfoot will continue to earn time in your pocket, and rightly so as it's terrific.

pertinux - that is a rock in your photo and not a badly overcooked potato, right? ;) Lovely forum knife.

Kris - really beautiful pair of knives.

Duane - your Resolza is gorgeous, especially the horn scales.

avoidspam - wonderful photo.

Primble - wow! You've been on quite a roll lately. The Ulster Barlow is fantastic. Long-pull, beautiful scales, and that stamping on the bolsters is the icing on top. Outstanding!

Gev - Another "wow" knife! Tremendous old scales, and those bolsters are equally impressive on the Chambers. Gorgeous! Thanks for the compliment on my fixed blade, and yes I'm having a terrific day and hope you are as well my friend. :)

Will - very handsome Queen.

Thanks Stephen :) I think I'll definitely be visiting the Garden Gate again - hopefully with my camera next time! I have a second ebony Lambsfoot on the way
