A lot of history in those blades Gevo. I wonder what it looked like new?

Hey, BTS! Welcome! Your first post ever! And on the Traditional Knife Totin' thread! I look forward to seeing your knives here in the future.

My EDC today:

No matter how I try, it is hard to leave home without my Radio Jack and my sheepfoot Charlow. It is my reflex EDC. I have to force myself to rotate in the rest of my knives.

Two knives destined to be classics - great choices Scott.

Here's my BF Stag again today but tonight I added a bit of potassium permanganate to darken it!
Whatcha think?

I think I should have kept mine and done the same exact thing to it - I have been wanting to try the pot. perm. for darkening - where did you find any?

It turned out super stunning Perry !!!:eek::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

I need me one of those time machines Gevo. :D

Hey thank you, Primble! It's very easy, just spread it on with a Qtip. You can find it online.
I'll send you pm!

It looks fantastic Perry, great job, and another great pic too

I'm carrying this old Boker Jack in ebony today, and one of Charlie's Razor Barlows :)

Have a great weekend everyone

I have to go and celebrate a coworkers retirement (as we use to do here) and something small and classy... SBG in damascus steel will be helpful

... and to complete the package the nice Higonokami Paul (pmew) gifted me some weeks ago ....

We gonna go to a bavarian restaurant, hopefully they have Blutwurst, Leberwurst (Blood- and Liversausage) and Sauerkraut :D :p

That looks great. Nicely aged and mellowed  Nice pic too!

They're fantastic knives, just about perfect. Mine goes with me nearly everywhere along with two other pocket staples.

Looks great Perry. You might have started a "pot. perm." epidemic!:D:thumbup:

For me today, might help in replacing a friends Lexus alternator.

Still with Mr Rogers:)

Sam

Mr. Rogers is still lookin' fine Sam!:)

I had been leisurely trying to find some pot perm and now I have some on the way. Anxious to try it on a few knives of mine. Yep - could be an epidemic! :D

Good luck on the alternator replacement - hope you don't get any busted knuckles Mark. A great choice of knives for the tasks at hand.:D
