Kris, I love the way the blade is finished on the Claudio. Pretty unique treatment showing the forged, smooth, and etched aspects of the steel. Very nice! :thumbup:

Thanks Gev and Duane, the blade is San Mai with sides of 420 SS and a core of twist damascus forged from 1095 and 15N20. I find the domed SS pins a nice touch also. Claudio and Ariel Sobral of Buenos Aires, Argentina are the makers of the steel, knife and sheath. A few pics,
