What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My first time ever carrying a traditional knife. Found this old Camillus Deluxe Stockman 83 in my dad's desk drawer. After I "appropriated" it, I spent an hour with some soap, water, Flintz, and a Sharpmaker, and it's good to go!!

You'd better be careful with that. Traditional knife fever can be caught by just looking at this thread. Carrying a knife like that one is indeed "treading on thin ice". There is no known cure either. That is a knice looking pocketknife sir. It is very, very similar to my Remington R14 carpenter's whittler except yours has a great bone handle.

I carried my mini copperhead again today. It's the knife in the center in this picture of the 3 amigos.

Thanks, Steven. It may have to fight for supremacy against its sibling for that honor

Elliot no matter how many times I see pics of that Cattle Knife I am still in awe of how perfect and beautiful it is. You must bring it to Blade next year so I can have a good look in person.:)

I went back to my Boker barlow this week. This has been my somewhat regular EDC for the last six months or so.

First time I've ever been accused of being an angel, Bosse. (At least since before I was a year old. :p)

Now that's enough of this or Ken will have a price increase! ;) :p

Thanks to you both for the good words!

(Not my pic)

It's a pocketfull, anybody recommend a sheath for such a critter?

When I carried a slippie as EDC over the last few years, it generally was a Buck 301 Stockman or a Vic Farmer SAK. That gave way early this year to a Boker Barlow. Lately, one of my first-ever Case knives - a bone Seahorse whittler. I still like lockbacks/framelocks, etc, but I seem to be 'returning to my roots' more these days.

I'm so far down on the wait list, it won't matter :D JK...

Those two are beauties. Very nice coloring on the bone. It remind me of some of the old Schrade Waldens.
