Thanks Erik! I really like your burnside, bone is sweet. I love doglegs.
@John Primble, excellent pics and even more excellent knives you got. Really enjoy seeing them.

Totin' this teardrop today

Thank you sir and that teardrop is a beauty !:)

Oh man that's a sweet pillbuster!

Much appreciated.;)

Gevonovich - Those lyric's made my day and your Wadsworth & Son knife was the icing on the cake! Gorgeous, and the Indian Trail bone scales are extraordinary. Sorry to have sent you off on a tangent, but hopefully it was an enjoyable one. :D Okay, just noticed the Ulster Barlow and Hammer Brand Cattle Knife - two more wonderful knives. You're on a roll!

Paul - the ebony clip/pen Charlow is a beauty. Seeing that one makes me think about carrying my ebony spear/pen tomorrow, but then again, I just got a couple packages in the mail today and might not be able to resist carrying something new tomorrow.

Jack - I hope you had a good trip to Sheffield today - I'm looking forward to your report. That's a lovely Arthur Wright lambsfoot you're carrying today. I don't recall seeing it before, but it's terrific. Now if you'll pardon the pun, your trip to Sheffield got me thinking - we have a Wooden Wednesday thread, but perhaps we should also have a Sheffield Wednesday thread too? ;)

Ken - an attractive and interesting carry today.

oldmanrunning - good looking Norfolk. Looks like it handled the crusty bread just fine.

Primble - stunning photo of two equally stunning old knives. Fantastic bone scales on both. I love the shield and the spear's swedge on the Catt.:thumbup::thumbup:

Whetstone39 - great pairing today.

Erik - very nice photo of your Burnside Jack.

Kris - looks like you were well equipped for your meetings today. I hope they went well.

SAK Guy - the Schrade IXL pairs well with your Farmer.

Smithhammer - beautiful trapper.

Andi - another terrific pairing.

Sarah - wonderful photo and equally wonderful knife. I was sort of expecting a Boston themed backdrop today...

Sean - Tip Top indeed! Beautiful Barlow.

Markesharp - amazing bone scales on your old NY Knife Co. jack.

Lemmy Caution - looks like you've already developed quite a patina on your Mako. It's a great looking knife.

Combatjiujitsu - love the spear blade on that one. Very nice!

jackknife - I like the looks of your Northwoods stockman more every time I see it. Wish I could find one like it.

Nick - stunning Cramer teardrop. One of my favorite patterns, and I'm a sucker for ebony, spearpoints and long pulls.

GronK - beautiful scales on your whittler.

No Agenda - wonderful looking sheepsfoot Charlow. I had one just like it, but sent it to a better home.

Brumby53 - I love the photos but the knife even more so. A lambsfoot Joseph Rogers Barlow. Just terrific.

GlennH - really lovely, warm scales on your Scout knife.

David - beautiful ebony 85 EO. One of my all time favorite patterns.

Jerry D. - the Sodbuster looks terrific in blue.

My carry was kind of boring by comparison to most of the knives posted today, but the slim 66 keeps finding its way into my pocket.

LOL! I'd love to see that Stephen! :D It was an interesting trip thank you my friend, though bitterly cold, and I returned exhausted for some reason. I'll try and get something written up this week, and send you a short report in the meantime  Thank you for your comments on the stag Lambsfoot, which Arthur Wright's sell as a 'Senator' for some reason - it was a Christmas present. I haven't carried it much yet, I was a bit disappointed by the stag to be honest, particularly on the mark side. A few more pics.

That's an interesting knife Dave, very nice

I'm carrying my Stag Jack today...

And my Maserin Filiscjna :)

Jack, I would be disappointed with that one too.

They have been scraping the barrel for stag in Sheffield since the Indian export ban on sambar exports took effect. Typically, the solution of most manufacturers has been to cut quality rather than increase costs. I did see some British sourced stag yesterday, which was considerably better than that on the knife above. It was particularly galling since that knife is at the top end of the Arthur Wright range. If I'd bought it myself, I would have certainly returned it, but it was a gift. The overall quality of the knife is second-rate (there's even a nick out of the top of the blade) :thumbdn:
