What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Bob, the pull on mine is about a 4; ironically, it snaps open as loud as other GEC knives that I own. It has a pretty obvious gap on the backspring at the bolster and another gap by the shield. The blade is also off center by quite a bit, yet it doesn't rub. All in all, and after using the Sharpmaker to set it at 20* per side, I like the knife. I like this pattern so much that I would pay GEC money for it if it had the GEC quality. Buuuuut, since it's half the cost, I'm a content camper :D

The pull on mine is right around a 3. I don't even need the nail nick. The blade is centered on mine, but the overall fit and finish is just so-so. I too like the pattern. It's a good size, single spear blade in ebony wood. What's not to like? :D

This is an old pic, but these two for the past few days... My Grail Barlow in Gabon Ebony and of course the yellow Peanut

Always carry a Vic Electrician and Classic, and a Case Peanut. Then I rotate a couple of "just for fun" knives on a weekly basis. This week:

In honor of Chuck Buck, I am carrying this BuckLite lockback today. I bought this new in 1988, so it's my second longest owned knife I still have. I broke the tip off about 20 years ago, reground it and still use it today, though an eighth inch shorter. Traditionally it has been my quail hunting knife because of it's light weight.

Buck Duke I added elk antler to, and a Sweet Lil' #25

Happy B-Day P :)

Jack, Nice to see that sweet little Buck! :)

Primble, Thanks for the kind words yesterday :)

Paul, lovely lil' 25 your totin'!

Whetstone, did you pair your Vic Farmer and Aitor Agricola on purpose??
If so, well-played, since "agricola" is Latin for "farmer" (I think - high school Latin classes were a LONG time ago)!:thumbup::D
If not, it's still a very cool coincidence! ;):p;)
