Todd, if you need me to test and get a patina going on that 85 I'll shoot a pm with my shipping info. :D

All kidding aside, two grails right there sir.

Ha Ha... Patina. I love and laugh at this word. For a West Texas Red neck boy... we called that the beginning of rust growing up. I know people love it. Please don't yell at me PATINA buddies. :p

Seriously, Thank you. I do love both of these black beauties. Honestly the TC stays in a double slip and only comes close to doing work when the flashlight that rides next to it get extracted for duty. ha ha.

The 85 has its own handmade belt sheath w/ a Texas star keeping it locked away safely between leather and cow hair. Not much actual cutting, mostly fondling. Other knives do the real work.

WOW, great pictures, Jack, Mark, Gev, Andi, Duane and others I know i'm forgeting from the previous page:o

Always enjoyed that slimmed down Buck Duane---you have skills my friend:) Think you have a 110 or 112 nick named "pocket melt"?:o

Thanks Paul :) I think it was MQQN who came up with that term "pocket melted" , I liked it :), I only have this 110 left, and just slipped it into my pocket to carry it tomorrow:

BTW, that's a rather nice looking Scout! They appear to be a rather handy pattern...

The two on the left today, possibly tomorrow as well-- although I'll likely substitute something with a screwdriver for the Calf Roper.

RIP, Eleanor. :(

We had to say goodbye to Eleanor (The St. Bernard in my profile pic) this morning.

I'm sorry for your loss, Sean. Losing a faithful companion is absolutely heart-wrenching. I expect there are plenty of happy memories to recall though, keep the good thoughts and remember her best moments.

Paul

Now that is a couple of cool pics. The world travel coins are awesome and Mason is handsome & happy looking pup. That front porch even is great.

This one is in my pocket for the snow day.

Great knife Brett.

Carrying this in honor of the "other bladeforums 2014 knife" I was gifted from Bob (BigBiscuit) today via his GAW.

Really nice BF knife !!!

The Scout and Grey Pioneer for me...

Nice !!!

These two seemed to gel together today while stealing a quick few pages of a ubiquitous Bromfield masterpiece

I sure was hoping for snow this year!:( I guess I will have to live vicariously through you:thumbup::thumbup: I love the shovel pic of that great knife!:thumbup:

Great pair you picked for today and a great pic too. Thank you for the nice comments and OK on the vicariously living- maybe I can mail you a snow ball with a smiley face! ?:D:D:D

I love Antique amber sawcut almost as much as I love your pics Primble.
I do think that is the best Charlow out there. Does anyone know if Charlie did a run of that cut in a single Sheepsfoot?

Thank you Brett !! I don't remember ever seeing any blade other than the long pull clip with the antique amber, however, I suppose there could be some that eluded my attention. ;):)

Always tough days follow after the loss of a furry friend. It is always hard to let them go. I wish for you - strength. :o:)

Wow, perfect every way.

Thank you and a nice Northfield you carried today.

this dynamic duo today

A nice duo Lemmy !!! Take that TC to a Yankees game - it was used to seeing my NY Yankee cap that I wear most of the time.:thumbup::D

I got a shiver just looking at this pic... stay warm, Primble!

Thank you Mr. Toasty in Sarasota !!! The cold is going to get worse here. They are predicting -10 degrees here Wednesday night.:eek::o

Ohhh - I almost forgot to say Nice Charlow ! :D:D

Sounds like a heat wave to me :D, the other day it got up to 8°F I went outside and said boy it's hot today, my snow drifts are 7'- 10' I would kill for the weather you are having, I've spent 3-4 hours a day just dealing with snow on my roof for the last 2 weeks some of the drifts on my roof reached 10', and then another 4 hours a day with paths and driveway, I put a spring countdown clock on my phone yesterday for a glimmer of hope :) my poor kiddos have been stuck inside for weeks, if they go out I'll never find then again..... Well not until spring thaw :D

Presidential for Presidents' Day

Pete,

I figured some of the north-east crowd might chime in. You guys ask for it living that far north - we don't ! ;):D:D

and you also have that snow blower too!!! :grumpy::p

Our temps are going down even colder around mid week.

Please keep that cold and snow up there where it belongs. :D:D

Nice knife and pics too.

Marko - that is a nice pair you toted today.

Bladegal - nice Puma ! Philllll could fix you up on that superimposed Cat knife - just send it to him in a PM and tell him Primble said to fix you up.:D

Have this pair with me today. Been getting a lot of use out of the worry-stone 77 today. We had to say goodbye to Eleanor (The St. Bernard in my profile pic) this morning.

I am sorry to hear this. Always tough to have happen.

I sometimes think I carry a knife as much to have a worry stone in my pocket as to have a handy blade there.

Sorry to hear that. Just had to do that with my llewellin setter that was my buddy for 12 years. I carry this as my worry stone every day since.

bleh, so sorry to hear of your loss! It's always tough to lose a family member. We lost our dog 3 years ago. Beautiful knife though.

My most usual picture spot was not available today, usually that concrete ledge on my basement stairs:
I saw what you did here ;)
totin' my antique amber TC Barlow today:

I just finished sending in my report to NWS and we have 12.33 average inches of snow on the ground, with 19-24 inch drifts, air temp of 13 degrees, NNE wind at 7 mph sustained and gusting to 15 mph. Still snowing at 1 to 2 inches per hour. Began around 0500 hours today. Very rare totals for our area. :)

I thought Valentines Day was a sign of spring around the corner. :o
That pic of the TC on the shovel is too cool Primble!
were getting freezing rain here, it would be nothing to me when I was living in NH, but there is no equipment or budget to deal with this stuff here, so I spent the afternoon duking it out in the supermarket to stock up for a few days. Stay safe out there people :)

To bleh, so sorry to hear of your loss, they are like children to us, part of our lives and family, my sincere condolences to you...

At least I have one accomplishment to show for my thousands of posts here! Good to see your Hunter again.

I had my Waiter with me today, as usual.

best

Nice knife and pics too.

Snow blower is about equal to using a teaspoon :D with 1/2 mile private road,300' driveway 100' x 4' path to the propane tank, plus another 60' for the generator, plus I need to dig to put the ladder up then dig the ladder out and move all that stuff, if I could get that thing on the roof I'd be in business :D:thumbup: it's been so cold and I've been outside so much I had to shave the beard off, it what's been freezing, and worst it freezes to my face mask so out came the clippers
Check your messages I sent you something funny
