Great looking example of the Sawcut Antique Bone there. I've got the same pattern in the Amber Jigged bone in my pocket right now.

So while completely snowbound here in Nashville, nothing to do here but post a knife Im carrying round the house anyway. Case Soddy Jr. in Cypress Stump and firework on the back spring. This knife is light as a feather with the Cypress wood on the handles.

Holy Moly, Perry, that cypress-handled sodbuster is an absolute knockout! WOW!!:eek::thumbup:
That must make being snowbound a pure pleasure (almost). ;)

These 2 lil guys today...

Thanks Nick, great vintage knives your sporting, the bone on both are great. Nice edge on that Tadpole:thumbup:

yes sir... some sweet stuff here! You know that single blade sheep foot drives me crazy! Love it.

Todd

Mine today. In honor of the next run of Fremont's coming out.

Nice Fremont Todd, you always carry well buddy, but wasn't aware of your love of the Sheepfoot:p

Paul that is the dynamic duo right there!

A Charlow for me as well today. It was a gift from my wife a while back and it needs some pocket time.

Thanks as well Brett, great gift from your wife my friend:thumbup: Not sure if that's some sort of metal crate but I like it:thumbup: Put me down for anything old lookin, chances are I'll like it:thumbup:

Hot Stuff coming through guys.

Thought I'd carry these 2 today. Blood red 66 Calf Roper Stockman and an Old Chestnut Bone Camillus Sportsman.

Lemme, the bone on that old Cammy is beautiful:thumbup:

Just got this one on the mail. I'm really loving antique yellow jig bone!

Some of my favorite bone as well Jsega:cool:

Fightn Rooster/Frank Buster
Found a nice stag trapper at lunch, and carried it for the rest of the day
It is a collectors club model, which I usually don't go for, but the stag was just too nice!

Thanks smithhammer! A friend of mine back some 5 years ago decided to make this for me because I was helping him find some knives. He bought a black handled Sod Jr. from Lowes and put the Cypress on it plus the file work.

^^^Yes, Ma'am - green canvas micarta (it looks more brown than green, though!). This example has a scandi-vex blade (scandi grind with a convex finish at the edge), and I'm really liking using it so far. We'll just have to see if the 3V steel holds up as promised...

Beautiful Rooster, ElKabong, I've really come to appreciate the build quality on the Frank Buster knives.

I'm switching to my elk stag and 440C trapper for a few days.

Someone told me recently that a pocket knife was just another tool... well yeah, maybe, but carrying a hacksaw in my pocket never made me smile. :)
