Loving me some Fremonts, here's my cocobolo, waiting to get the dyed camel bone and smooth oiled bone in the mail.

Does a "modernized rendition" of a traditional design count?

If yes, here is my just finished friction folder I carried today for the first time:

And here is the "pocket pouch" to carry it in the front jeans pocket without knife profile "printing" through (wallet for comparison):

Made it just a couple days ago, details posted here:

Until now, I carried only modern folders or a SAK.
Looks like I am moving over to the "traditional side"... Bought an Opinel last week, haven't carried it yet though.

Alex.

Great looking knife Alex

Great pocket knife for occasional use. That sharp corner on top of the rear bolster really is a hot spot if doing prolonged cutting. That's not a hit on this knife because if you were doing prolonged cutting, you'd be using something else anyway ;) ... anyone remember steel pennies?

I'm approaching my bandwidth limit on PB, so I don't know how long this pic will appear before PB blocks it ... shoot

It's a gorgeous Fremont - well done!

And I see they're back in stock over at KSF... might have to pick me up one of those beauties before they're gone again...
