Our Ulster lads did us proud last night with a win over Llanelli Scarlets, I just need my national team to step up and demolish the Italians.

There will be many a cap lifted this evening if they do!

Some great knives folks  I'm off for a hike today, with these two in my pockets. Have a great weekend everyone :)

Have fun, Jack. Are you hiking to work in a teeny, tiny gold mine? :D

I've got an old Kutmaster with me, today

Your Dowell is exquisite, Brett! What a pleasure to see such a beauty:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you Gevo. I appreciate that. I bought one of his for my first custom and I was talking to my wife about handing it down. My wife said I needed two since I will have two kids this July. My eyes widened and I took to the hunt. I really did marry a good one. :D

Old man

Is that a copperhead?

I it is a Case 32024 1/2 , in the Case Knives book it is pattern 24 also known as the boys knife, made from 1940 to 1964 although i think it was made for another 3 years with a different stamp on the tang, as far as i can tell there is no way to tell the year of manufacture , so it is between 75 and 51 years old and it still has good edges on both blades and good walk and talk, i do not believe i have seen any pictures of this model maybe because the peanut became so popular.

A nice old saw-cut bone NYKC Barlow today:
