Thanks Gary, the package said "Oiled Bone" and I agree with your question in bold above:thumbup:

You're right Scott! Stag handles in both the 77 frames are really perfect!
PAul, you now know what all the hubbub is about! A nice thick, sturdy Wharncliff blade, wicked snap and beautiful handles to boot. She's a beaut!

No matter what I have in my pocket or clipped to it, this one is always in the watch pocket of my jeans. Love this knife.

Totin' my Craftsman medium stockman today, finally got to cut something with it about an hour ago! Slow day.

Cheeky little fellow isn't he? :D Just a random pic I've used before on other forums. Always gives me a chuckle. :D

My pictures do not do this Bret Dowell Trapper justice....

Thank you to a member of this forum who will remain anonymous unless he wants to take credit for graciously and smoothly selling me this gorgeous knife.

Enjoying a good beer while watching the birds at the feeders, Rick Menefee dogleg in mammoth ivory and 154cm by my side,

Beautiful knife. I thought I was doing good with Shiner and ribeyes for Texas Independence Day.

Edit: I looked a little harder. Nice knife.

Thank you so much, Perry. I'm smitten and see way the swayback is such a favored pattern.
