I picked up this 48 off the Exchange this weekend. It arrived yesterday so it went in the pocket today.
It is slim, sharp and I can pinch the blade open. I started it on an Apple Patina at lunch today

F. Hartkopf lockback in Thuya burl and 330 layer Balbach damascus, Jason B. sharpened this for me, finishing on a 5k Shapton Pro, sharp is an understatement!

Today a packet arrived with the following content (and two other boxes of nice snuff), which went straight into my pockets of course. The lockback is a Hartkopf with ebony covers, and the other one you all know .

I just absolutely love this thing! Unfortunately it has awoken the traditional beast in me. Now I wont be able to rest until I get my hands on a gec 15. Then the obvious next step is a charlow. And then comes a yankee/ washington jack...
