What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Delightful duo of dusky "daggers", Jack!:thumbup:
You're taking your surname very seriously today! :D:D

Got a new one today. Tidioute Missouri Trader #42 in green linen micarta, with 1095 carbon steel. I'm pretty stoked. Great knife. No showy extras on this one, other than the shield. Pretty much just a very functional user.

Congrats on the new blade, I have that same knife and it is one heck of a workhorse

that sabre ground LP spear might look good on a certain Barlow being made. The steel being used is thick enough! :D

Certainly would ! I would say just about anything is possible at this point ! Don't forget the swedges !:eek::D:D:D:D

Thanks, Primble! :)
That knife is courtesy of the legendary generosity of Paul Hilborn, who sent it to me before I had any idea of what a shockingly superb knife it is; I just thought it was pretty!:o:eek: But as I carry it every day, I'm learning my lesson about the extremely high quality of the SBJ.:D:thumbup:

Got to watch what you say around some of the sneaky (and generous) ones. ;):D

Totin' the Che Chen Rosewood today - kindly sent to me by OW - (see above for cautionary statement) ;):D:

Primble - :)

I'm carrying a new Whittler today, the Chestnut Peach Seed Jigged Bone on the right. I think this one might be my favorite #38 (so far).

Todd, I never tire of seeing that pair of knives. They fill the gambit of both classic and contemporary traditional sheepsfoot knife design. As much as I'm in awe of that Oeser knife, the Case really pushes all the right buttons for me. I keep looking for one like it. I've seen some, but most have seen better days. You hit the jackpot with that one IMO.

Thank you so much... blessings. The Old Case has stolen my heart! This 1940-1965ish old XX is the only one with such a fat blade and with such an amazing swedge. Cant get over it!

Love this place.
