What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got a super early start in the morning, so I'm sorting out tomorrow's EDC tonight :)

...This may be my favorite knife of all time.

….At least for today...:)

Scott, your BladeForums knife IS quite fantastic!:thumbup:
The "at least for today" cracks me up every time I see it! :D:D You'd think I'd eventually get sick of that semi-joke, but it continues to amuse me because it's so ironic and true! :o:o

...My trusty friend, Friedrich Hartkopf Lockback in nice stag was on my side today ... finally got it to take some new pics of that one.

...

Your Hartkopf is something else I never get tired of, Andi. The stag is exquisite!:thumbup:
Ich hoffe, ihre schmerzenden Rücken bald heilt! Not sure I said that correctly, but I hope you can figure out what I'm trying to say.:D

Very nice Primble! I can't wait for mine to arrive. You make all your knives look so beautiful.
...
I love Hiroaki's work! I don't own any of it, but I sure enjoyed the pics I've seen here. Thanks for posting.

What Robb writes is so true! I'm thinking of sending Primble my entire humble little collection and having him take "glamor shots" of each knife. I'll probably love my knives even more once I've seen them through the lens of Primble's camera!;);)

Scout and a City knife.
...

Another pristine pic of a pulchritudinous pair, Tom! :p:p What's the closed length of your scout and who made it? I should probably recognize that acorn shield, but I'm drawing a blank right now. (BTW, I was really touched by the story you related a day or two ago about your dad and the knife the two of you have been gifting back and forth during his illness.:thumbup:)

Carefull what you wish for Gary. You may end up with a pile of glamor photos of your humble little collection of knives dressed up in lace lingerie. :D :D :D

Good point, Bob.:p:p:eek: You probably know Primble better than I do! The thought of the Swiss Army in lacy underthings is kinda frightening.

Thanks for the kind words GT, much appreciated! That is an AG Russell Premium Scout knife, closed it is 3 5/8 inches. If I ever find another I will definitely buy it.

"Another pristine pic of a pulchritudinous pair, Tom!"
I dunno Tom. Gary could have said that to me and for all I know, he could have been saying, Another pristine pic of a pair of polished turds. :D :D :D

I know, right? :) So I had to look it up:

pulchritudinous
[puhl-kri-tood-n-uh s]
adjective
1.physically beautiful; comely.

Now I want to use it in a conversation, just to see if the other person punches me or not. :D

I am a little late in this thread but wanted to support Paul and family as well. Carrying my only dark wood TC today.

Thanks for the info, Tom. I now remember that you or someone else had mentioned the AG Russell connection, but I didn't know it was "standard size". Maybe because of the other knives I've seen you pair it with, I had the wrong impression that it was kind of a mini scout. Another one to add to the "someday.." list!

You never know, Bob; maybe that's exactly what I might have said to YOU!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::eek:
