Paul, I'm so sorry for your loss. Please pass my sympathies onto Nancy and the family. I have no 15 in ebony to carry so I'll pocket this one today in support.

Nice work Mark. As I said before, I love the "out of the box" thinking on this project. Commendable work right there.

Early returns suggest that April 29, 2015 will be an incredible day for BF members in terms of their daily carries!! BroJim's Northwoods and Alox, Jack Black's 2 classic dark single blades, Will's incredibly jigged Boker, Paul's elegant black beauty, and the Dr. T from cc are all beautiful marriages of form and function!:thumbup:

In keeping with my motto of "So many knives, so little time", I'm carrying lots of knives today. This is one of them. A Vic Recruit really has everything I need in a knife, even though it may not have everything I want.

Agreed with Bob, that's a very neat knife. Good work. You've got me thinking of buying a kit...I have the tools to finish one. Hmmm...

Great little carry knife. I carried one as my only knife for about 15yrs. Actually two, as I lost the first one after 10 yrs. Still have the second one. It's warn and the handles are loose from too many cycles in the washer.

Mark: Amazing... poor fish needs some meat on his bones! ha Ha. Actually I love it w/o the meat. Very cool. Neat idea as well.

A simple but classy carry for me today:

That fly rod is very cool. The lockback goes well with it. I always enjoy what you post. Thanks for sharing Kris.

Chris

Thanks Chris, I always appreciate your comments.

Beautiful Kris, a really special gift. Happy fishing my friend  I haven't fished for years, but started out with rods my grandfather built :)

Thanks Jack

Kris - I know I don't need to tell you that "special" would be an understatement where that beautiful rod is concerned. What a fantastic gift. Can I ask what the length is?

Thanks SH, just under 93 inches overall, can't wait to get out on the river.
