What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well, my son in law came over tonight and liked the stag Queen stockman I had, so I gave it to him (he didn't own a stockman!).
I replaced it in my pocket with my modified #48 trapper.

Fantastic pics guys

Yes, my wedknd is going great. I'm carrying the Davison with me this evening while waiting for my daughter's dance recital to start. Gymnastics last night and the boys had three baseball games this week, so when you factor in work, I haven't had much spare time. That said, my 'Grail Knfe Pursuit' came to a very, very happy conclusion this afternoon when the mailman delivered a package from Mike (Galvanic1882). Photos and details will have to wait until later though as the recital is about to start. I hope you're having a great weekend my friend.

That DOES sound like a busy week Stephen, but a very rewarding one. I'm sure your daughter's dance recital was a joy. Exciting news about your grail knife my friend, I'm so pleased for you, can't wait to see it

I'm dragging myself off to a car-boot sale this morning, and slipping my RJ in my pocket for now :)

Well that was a complete waste of time! :grumpy: Putting my Sunday glad-rags on! ;) :D

Is that a TA Davidson with the inner filing Jack? Sorry to hear about the sale but knives always cheer things up
Carrying this italian resolza beauty from my girlfriend on a trip to Italy for Mother's day today on this wonderful Sunday. Sending her and my sister off to the airport since they're headed overseas for a holiday
Hope you all have a wonderful one~

^ yep...Todd has been coining his liners lately on his knives. Adds a nice touch...and something you don't see in his pictures is that fact that he hand files his back springs. I'm gonna carry my Barlow today

Ah yes coining, forgot the term and it's really the subtle nuances that add such exquisite taste to his work. That elder burl (I think, correct me if I'm mistaken) is a sight for eyes.

Happy Mother's day all you moms out there!!
I wonder if anyone is gifting a knife to their mom today?
Thanks everyone for the congratulations on my Daughter's college graduation yesterday. She's everything you could hope for in a child.

Off to Churchill Downs for a Mother's day brunch!!
I'll use this to shred my losing tickets.

Just finished putting a nice edge on this one, so I decided to drop it in my pocket for today. Crazy sharp right now!

That's it...black and gold dyed box elder burl. It's more subtle than that description though. It's more of a black/charcoal/grey/green/gold/yellow/antique burl and it's much better looking in hand!

Love seeing all the knives guys. Best wishes to all the Moms still with us and fond memories for those now past.

Really been loving this Goldenrod 85.

I added the EO notch. Seemed to go well with the big stout spear.

That's a beauty Lemmy! Love the coloring of that one and yes, the notch does look good on the 85's.

It is indeed sir, specially commissioned for me by the ever-generous Old & In The Way:)

And mirror polishes them :) Great-looking Barlow my friend

Very nicely put

Lovely 85 Lemmy, and that Eo mod suits it well :)
