Some great lookin' knives today, folks! I had my old cross at work, and unpackaged a new Bulldog Quarter Horseman stockman when I got home tonight. Putting final edges on it while watching the hockey games tonight!

I LOVE THE EMPIRE Dave!!! Our family owned a furniture store named "Empire Home Furnishings" for nearly fifty years...so I collect anything EMPIRE related. I had the same knife with just the screwdriver blade only:thumbup:

It's raining and thundering here today, so "business" is slow. Haha
It's a really crummy day for taking pics too so here's a repost of my carry for today:)
Enjoy:):):):):)

 I like the #71 Bull Nose pattern. The red linen micarta is nice on that one Ryan.

Thanks for the nice comments Bob and Paul:)
I don't carry that knife as much as I should. I'll have to remedy that:D

I hope everyone's been doing well. I haven't been around much lately, but hope to change that as I miss checking in with all of you on a regular basis. I've been carrying the knife below since it was delivered on Saturday.

I suspect that we've all been captivated by a particular knife at one time or another. For me, that knife is/was a Rosewood JBF Eureka Jack. From the first time I saw a photo of one and then read the story behind the covers and the knives themselves, I've been obsessed with finding one. As a matter of fact, the hunt for that specific knife is what brought me to this forum for the first time (a very happy consequence of my search). Well sometime back, Mike (galvanic1882) contacted me and offered to help me with my hunt. A very kind and gracious offer by Mike and one that I greatly appreciate. So after a nearly two year search, Mike contacted me to let me know that he found me a set of the Eureka Jacks, as well as, a set of first run JBF Champlin Teardrop Jacks. What to say after so long a search? Archimedes exclamation seems fitting, "Eureka!" :D

Again, I hope you're all doing well and having a great week. And Mike, thanks again my friend! :)

Thank you Paul :) 50 years is a very long time to have a family business, it must have been a real icon in your community with lots of great family memories.:thumbup::thumbup:

Stephen, I believe those Galvanics are the nicest SFOs ever produced. Congrats on finally achieving your quest!

Gorgeous knife Stephen, congrats!

Thanks Tom! I feel very fortunate to have found my grail knife, or more exactly that Mike helped me find my grail knife. :)

Thanks Gev! This one was a case of love at first sight, and is even more special to me as Mike went out of his way to help track it down. :)

Stunning Rosewood!

Thanks Drew! When Mike told me he had found one, I was thrilled, and even more so when I saw how special the Rosewood on this one looked in person. My photos really don't do it justice. Thanks again. :)

Thanks Paul! Yes, I had that in my sig line for a long time until I removed it earlier this evening. I'm not sure what if anything I'll obsess over next, but for the time being, I'm more than satisfied to finally have this one in hand. That said, I'm also very grateful that Mike took notice of my sig line and offered to help me. He's a great guy, and if he and Derek ever commission another run of knives, I'll definitely be at the front of the line. :)

Jeff - thank you sir! There's been quite a few incredible SFOs produced, but I tend to agree with you as I think these are absolutely wonderful. :)
