I seem to be running about 36 hours behind schedule in every aspect of my life this week! But I sure enjoy seeing what you folks are up to, knife-wise!
The Taramundi is very cool

Thanks, Tom. I sure am glad I went with the "scorched" rather than painted handle; I like looking at it more than I like looking at TV.

More nice pairs that you've been posting; I really admire your Primble scout!
GT - Thanks!!!, nice selection, International alright. I keep seeing those faces

in your Taramundi

...
You still remember that "game" I suggested when I first posted a photo of my Taramundi, Dave?? I'm impressed!
...As for me, going back to a nice and very special production piece:

David, you've been picking up some incredible customs lately, but for a simple guy like me, they don't get much better than that BF EO 85 cap lifter! Really like the jigging and color of that bone, too!

...Haha touche GT, love the ones you had on you at the moment as well, esp that Old timer. All knives should look like that, well loved.
Thanks for the perceptive comment, Tim. That 34 OT isn't anything special in an objective sense, but it means a lot to me!!

I've never really caught the TC Barlow frenzy the way so many have, but those antique amber sawcut ones could push me over the edge if I'm not careful!

Terrific twosome, Primble!! :thumbup::thumbup:
Beautiful! A true gem right there
Today I am carrying... wait for it...
My Powderhorn
Thanks for the kind words on the Tarmundi. I don't carry it often, but it's on the kitchen counter every day and I use it for food prep 3 or 4 times each week. Very cool little knife! Speaking of which, your Powderhorn is a VERY cool not so little knife!
...It isn't the most graceful of knives, but this harness knife has found its way into my pocket all week.
I like this photo, Rachel. Can I see steel residue on the bottom of the mug?? Very sharp!

I got this WWII Camillus scout knife in today. All it took was a drop of oil on the joints and a sharpening. This is the grail scout I've been searching for!
The quality on this knife is beyond impressive!!! Enjoy y'all

...
You can say that again, Ryan.:thumbup: My very first knife was a scout pattern, and it still influences a lot of what I'm drawn to in knives 50+ years later!
...
Stephen le compact is a very tasteful 'modern' French Trad. You inspired me to carry mine today, it has a few extra pins (there's a word for it in French which I forget) Used to have the same knife in a mellow stag but unhappily it went MIA on a business trip in some hotel back in 13. Miss that one!:grumpy:
Regards, Will
Will and Stephen, those French knives are SO elegant, and several kilometers beyond my Opinels!

Today's carry.............
Holy Moley! I gotta go lie down!

My usual 1970 Case Peanut. It's my date of birth knife.
Little knife does everything and has been through everything. Still goin' strong.
...
Very cool, mrbear.

I like the date of birth knife idea. I wonder if a gentleman of my advanced years can afford to go on that quest?

Houndstooth Dogleg today.
See, Bob, that's the knife I referred to in another thread where I talked about setting boundaries on what I like and don't like, and then you knife evangelists come around and convert me to stuff that I had ruled out!

Gorgeous grain in those handles!!

Been totin' this one all week.
I can see why Dan; those EO teardrop 85s exert a powerful pull on my aesthetic sensors!:thumbup:
