What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

She's a fine one. And dandy covers to bet. I'm seeing nothing to dislike.
I have one of those, except I dropped it and lost the shield in somebody else's basement. It's a great knife- I especially like the coping blade.
The Remington R4, that is. I thought I was copying the pic. (I might replace the saw with an awl.)

Carrying my modified (spey into coping) humpback whittler today. This is one of those knives that came up scary, laser, scalpel sharp after putting my usual sharpening on it. Funny how some come out better than others using the same technique. Any ideas what causes that phenomenon?

Thanks J, that makes sense. The only other thing I thought of was a perfect batch of heat treat, but it seems unlikely that three different blades would all come from the same batch.

Hi!

Got the Colt Canoe. Just finished a leather pouch yesterday and it was the right size to test it. I'll try to find a way to post some pics here...

Cheers!

Nice #38, I love the jigging on those. Wish they'd use that on other patterns, as well.

The bone is amazing. Thanks

I like the 38 much more that I thought.
