Carrying the stag Eric's Jack that I won from one of Bob's very generous gift away's. Bob, I am so glad you have received so much love and support and I am wishing and praying for a speedy recovery my friend. So sorry to hear you have been going through some tough times lately.
I often think our lives are 'back-the-front'.... when we are young we scratch together a few bucks to buy a knife (or rifle or car) and we make do, use & enjoy what we have, what we can afford at the time, at every available opportunity.
Later in life when circumstances allow us to own some really nice knives - often lots of them - the opportunity to actually carry and use them is less frequent.
Sometimes, like to day, I enjoy carrying one of those knives that hooked me in the first place back in my earlier days.
I'm not much for pocket knives but I do carry my Camillus Silver Sword Canoe and I alternate it with my Western Diamond Series Lockblade, shucks I do have other vintage pocket knives but I lean mostly on those two.
Dave, nice shot on the pan...I did the same thing a couple months ago! I love looking for the old Griswold pans. This one was my great grandmothers that I recovered from my grandma and got back into working order. Might as well carry the Davison today!!

THANKS Jake Great photo, and I remember your original photos on the cast iron Griswold. Very cool that you have your great Grandmothers  I have always admired your Davison and remember the day you got it (as well as your post that you had ordered it, haha)
