Love this thread, but it sure is hard to keep up with it if my "routine" gets interrupted!
...
GT, thank you! It is a single blade. I am developing a strong preference for single blades as my configuration of choice.
Thanks for the reply, Curtis.

I'm basically a multi-blade guy at heart, but somehow I've ended up with quite a few single-blade knives, too, and like them more than I thought I would.
Brilliant repurposing either way. I dig it!
Thanks, J_Curd.

I have quite a bit of the "pocket leather" left from that ball glove, and hope to get over to Tandy Leather soon to pick up equipment to try to sew myself more sheaths or wallets. (Or maybe I'll make a strop out of some of it.)
Found this one in the knife plant this morning and decided to carry it.

You're turning into quite the horticulturist, Dean!

Jigged copper masterpiece by Enrique Pena:

W!! "Masterpiece" is a vast understatement!!

...Carrying mine as well today.
...
Superb TC, Brett! :thumbup::thumbup:
...Today I have something I had been hunting for for a while. An SAK Cadet II... Even though it predates the Cadet it is referred to as the Cadet II. It has a small clip secondary blade rather than the file. The action was kind of gummy and there was a little rust in a couple spots, but a mineral oil bath and some cleanup has the blades walkin' and talkin' like they should.
...
That Cadet II is absolutely spectacular, Erik!!:thumbup:

I've been half-heartedly keeping an eye out for one; congrats on your successful hunt!

Thanks pal, so far here there's only minimal security in the museums. They even sell knives in the museum I visited today ...
Thanks for the info, Jack. My view of museum security may be overly-influenced by a time many years ago when the Dead Sea Scrolls came to our local public museum, and the Israeli security that accompanied the exhibit made it very clear to me that a little keychain Classic knock-off would not be tolerated anywhere near their antiquities!!

...This for me today...one just has to carry a miniature Battle Axe daily

...
Your battle axe is SO cool, Paul; about the right size for a dwarf in
Lord of the Rings?

...Just another day with this porcine friend

...I love the electric blue phase of a developing patina...
Duane, that sowbelly is fantastic (although I miss seeing your Powderhorn

). A chestnut bone "porcine friend" is high on my "must have" list! Very interesting avatar, too; how did you get the knives into the picture??

That's King Crimson album cover art, right? Man, that takes me back!

I wonder if, now that it's 2015, I've actually become a 21st century schizoid man??

More and more I'm turning to the Electrician. No rust worries, easy to sharpen, great main blade for cutting apples and opening mail, great sheepsfoot for breaking down boxes, trimming fishing line, whatever. The awl is sharp enough to work as a utility blade as well. Plus it opens beers almost daily.
...
I'm buying what you're selling, sir!:thumbup: If I was only allowed to have ONE pocket knife, the Electrician would probably be it.
...Carrying my first Charlow today

...And this Maserin Sodbuster
...
Nice combo, Jack; I envy your ability to see everything in black and white today!:thumbup:

As I mentioned in another thread, I so enjoy seeing your Maserin occasionally; thanks!

Thank you Ryan, I always restock on band aids whenever I go there anyhow

I like your attitude, Tim!! Hope all went well with the medical side of life.
I received this most excellent 77 from Cory yesterday. It's definitely in my pocket today!
...
Congrats, sir!! That's definitely a winner!:thumbup: Kudos, Cory!

...Rainy morning here. I, and the Sowbelly, will be working on the nursery. Only 2 weeks till due day!

...
GREAT sowbelly, Brett!!

Praying that all goes well for you and your family with the big change ahead!!
Grey knives on yet another grey day for me, been raining for a solid week. But I should enjoy a blue sky tomorrow!
...
You've got great knives to brighten your days, Tom, but I hope you get a chance to dry out and enjoy some sun this weekend!:thumbup:
Got one of my red bones out for pics, as requested by Jeff. I went ahead and stuck it in my pocket, just for good measure.

...
Primble, your redbones (and your photos of same) are simply awe-inspiring!!!

:thumbup::thumbup:
Until the new wears off or I forget and leave her home

I haven't commented on your new whittler before, Gary, but I can no longer restrain myself!!

What a gorgeous knife; congrats!!

Off from work for two weeks now ... glad to have some free time. I spent this afternoon at the fire range... had a great great time. (and finally bought a Marlin .30-30)
Charlow was with me today
...
Congrats on the new rifle, and the old Charlow!:thumbup: Are you feeling better these days, Andi, or is the chest/back situation still worrisome??
Another knife I've been carrying this week is a faux tortoise shell Canyon Creek sunfish.
