Magnificant knife Elliott. Great job on that one Kerry. That pen blade is a masterpiece in itself.

I am carrying my lowly (in comparison), but much loved Schrade 194OT. I've had it a lot of years; it's been through some good times and some bad times.

Back to my Gene Wiseman linerless front pocket. I've been using this one like crazy and the 1095 is just starting to take on a haze of a patina. Edge has been reprofiled a little bit but has only required about 3 touch-ups even after cutting down about 30 cardboard boxes, hose, and fuzz sticks.

Keep it up and it'll start going to his head...oops, too late! :p

Yeah! Shhhhh! Right now he's OK but any bigger and he'll hit his head on the grinding wheel when he works!

BTW, gorgeous EJ! :)

I have my KH serpentine trapper with me again today. ;)

I went from owning no traditional slipjoints to two in the space of a few weeks as I'm a sucker for Wharncliffes. Here's the new Case Mini Copperhead wharnie in navy blue bone. I really like having the little penknife so I'm not always gumming up the main blade with tape residue.

Glad to hear you like it. I've got an orange one headed this way now. Seeing yours is making me kind of antsy though.:D

Had this Queen with me today.

I'm so happy this thread exists. I'm learning a lot from it.

I've had a lot of more modern style folders over the years that never really clicked with me and I've got fixed blades pretty well covered. I've always wanted some folders that were more practical.

Traditional folders like this just make make sense to me. I've got a small fixed blade I carry daily. A traditional folder like this makes a great companion knife to it in my opinion.

Given my background, I'm kicking myself for not getting into slipjoints and traditional folders a long time ago and should've been collecting them for many years now. Live and learn.

Just got my first Case about a week ago and couldn't be happier. So much so, I bought another....and I've got one more on the way.

Modern folders are fine but in my opinion lack a bit of soul. Too many stainless blades with black handles....after a while they all look the same to me.

This is great, keep it coming! Hope to get some pics up myself soon.

This pattern is really a great knife. Yours is the first live photo I've seen of that version and it is quite nice. The one I have is amber bone. I've carried it every day but three so far this year (if memory serves me, and sometimes it doesn't very well). - Ed (fellow sucker for wharncliffes)
