What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Opinel 8 with walnut..

That is a cool looking photo of the Opinel on those Texas tangerines! I like that mellow stag on that old Case and Peter! Holy heck! You've got some big mitts! Nice photo composition for that sodbuster.

Since I was sick as a dog for the past few days with the flu (getting over now), it is probably appropriate that I have my Menefee Dogleg on me.

Luciano,

thanks and I hope you'll be much better soon - this Dogleg should help!
BTW these mitts are a quite normal #10 but the sodbuster is a Junior ;)

Best, Peter

I carried the GEC whittler that Stu gave me last year. Thanks, Stu.

I started the day with my Case/Bose Tribal Spear this morning and then switched to the new black G10 Wiseman front pocket that showed up in the mail today! Here it is at the top of the picture with my other two Wisemans.

Case/TB ebony backpocket. I'm really liking this knife more than I thought I would. Cut up some cheese, an avocado and an apple last night and it just felt perfect.
The lanyard lets it ride vertically in my back pocket next to my wallet without falling over and just sticks out enough to grab quickly.

Sextant. That sodbuster picture was realy nice and get it to look as a real workers knife. I also use my sodbuster jr today. Not quite as homogen patina but still a joy for the eye.

The humble soddie today. In my purely unscientific cutting tests, this unassuming little guy beat out just about every other knife I own. Light duties today but a reassuring presence in my pocket nonetheless.

Accumulating a gazillion knives is a lot of fun but that knife is a true companion. Love mine.
