Time well spent!! Losing all time bound awareness means you were having fun!!!:D Can't wait to see what you created.

Stephen
That looks like a perfect fathers day chest!! A very thoughtful gift from your family!!! Well done:thumbup::thumbup:

One of my favorites today,

Joel Chamblin wharncliffe lockback whittler, CTS XHP, stag, and 14k gold pins. The fit and finish and the mechanics of this knife are quite impressive. A very tough pattern to make and very few makers can get right. The last wharncliffe lockback whittlers that Tony made, sold for almost $10,000.

Get some sleep, Mark. :)

I've been up a few hours, and it's time to give Dad a call.

In my pocket for now, and hopefully cutting some barbecue later:

Thank you Rachel for your kindness and an excellent Choice (pun intended ;) for a barbecue. Hope your dad is doing well. My dad passed away three years ago and I miss him dearly. Have a great day my friend. :)

Happy Fathers Day!

WOOHOO! Look like some one is having a fish fry💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😅😅

Man those sure are looking good Mark! I can't wait to see them finished😄

Happy Fathers Day to you to buddy👍🏻

This is an awesome knife. A lot going on with all the features this knife has but each feature is individually done in simplicity.

It truly does, glad to have one finally,

These, all week again, and for the foreseeable future:

LT Wright Patriot in desert ironwood, Lick Creek Farmer's Jack in smooth white bone.

Tucked into the KSF Pocono sheath shown above, which I carry in a side (leg) pocket of my work pants:

In taking these pictures, I discovered that not only am I developing a farmer's tan, the handle of my Patriot is as well. Not the desired effect!

:D

The Farmer's Jack continues to delight and surprise. I had no idea I'd enjoy carrying and using it as much as I do; even on days I know I'll need a screwdriver (read: Radio Jack), this white beauty keeps insisting on coming along.

Great pic r8shell

I got up early this morning and went for a long walk before the rest of the household was up. I was expecting everyone to still be asleep when I got back but to my surprise they were up and had breakfast waiting for me, along with this...

I teased my wife that it was really a gift for both of us as she might now gets to reclaim some of the table/counter/dresser tops.

Heading out for the day with this one in my pocket. I hope you all have a wonderful day! :)

Fantastic Stephen, big grin on my face here

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's, soon to be Dad's, pet owners, and everyone in between!

:D  Nice knife too

That dan burke barlow looks amazing! I really love the wharncliffe secondary.

My pockets are full today. I figured I had to carry the classic since my dad gave it to me the last time he got a new one. It is the only knife I have ever seen him consistantly carry.

Dad is doing well, thank you. He had his second Bar Mitzvah in 2013 (you get a second one at the age of 83) and will be coming to visit me next month. I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing, and I know how blessed I am to have both my parents.

Here's my carry and what I was working on. Next step, assembly, finish the grind blades and finish the final sanding. :)

Happy Fathers Day!

Wahoo! Maybe I'm more in the mood for fish than BBQ, now. :D

Giving the Remington R-4 a rest today. Instead, I'm rocking the Wenger Standard Issue and Victorinox Executive.

Carried this Carbon Opinel #7 for Father's Day and carrying it today. 8-10$USD can get you a laser edge knife and a comfortable "broom stick" handle  :D
Fresh waterstone edge and the beginnings of a mango and cherry wood patina.
