A random buy, But I find myself not able to put it down. Been totin it for a week solid.
K'roo knife from South Africa, one of a kind. Fatter rounded bottom half, thick blade dramatically tapered.
N690co steel, brass bolster, black chacate wood. It feels antique even though made this year. Something a sailor may have carried in the 1800s. What style would you guys classify it as? Kinda barlow'ish.

You have picked up very fine knife there. Willem is a superb craftsman with his own unique South African take on things. And "yes" I would call it "Barlowish"
Is yours a Hidden Joint version? I was eyeing one of his knives off recently but just didn't have enough ready cash to dive in.

Looks like a rustic hard user drew but with the ability to adjust the pivot as well only speaks more to that regard. Really like the 'old world feel' of that one.
 
Moose trying to knock out some jobs before it gets to hot. I have a houndstooth on the way and am really excited about it in autumn jigged bone and will make it my weekend carry I think.
 
Can't wait to see the houndstooth Combatjiujitsu, I think the dogleg frame is one of the best in hand
