What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ya I think I need a 73!

I originally wanted a Cocobolo 73 , but when I looked at what was available in Stag , I quickly changed my mind. I really like Barlows , but I think the 73 fits my hand a little better. I realized that the slabs were not matched very well , but I actually wanted the 2 different types of surfaces that my choice had. The price of the 73s is not too bad either as compared to other GEC choices. I think you should need a 73 too.

Brther Jim : Maybe the Serial Number is nothing special , but the Mammoth sure makes it special. I like it much better than the original Delrin . Makes me think about modding mine. Thanks for that link.

Combat - That Moose has got to be the hardest working knife on the porch :D:eek::D

Haha and at 1 of 5 one of the rarest. Love the slanted bolsters as always

Interesting living home decor, Tim! Maybe you can use your Opinel to slice up worms for your robin family. :D:D

In my watch pocket this week is a Case swayback jack, and in a little nylon mesh wallet with my bus discount card is a Case delrin peanut.

- GT

Aha thank you GT, they're smart birds. A nest on the door is too far away from any predators and constantly in the shade.
I like that swayback jack, one of the only cases I've considered getting. I know it's a touch smaller than my viper though ;)

My cocobolo 73 is on the way. Had to exchange the first one, but man it's an awesome size knife. I love the wood too.

Oh , that is such a nice looking knife. Smooth Bone ????????? Or Ivory ????

Harry

Just smooth white bone. Its my first ever GEC. Got it on the bay a few years ago for a ridiculous steal (still feel a little bad for the price I got it at.) Its my most carried knife and the bone has taken on a lot of character and depth. My only "safe queen" is the same knife with sterile blade and plain shield. Its 1 of only 2 made and is waiting in the wings in case I ever foul up and lose or break this one. The unused bone is much much whiter. I'll do a comparison shot one day soon.
