What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That presidential sure is doing alot of hard work. Was that forced or just all natural through days and days of use? Love the maratac set up Eri(K) with a K ;)
.

I use my carbon blades with just about every thing I eat, so they patina pretty quickly.
I agree Brett.
That reversible clip was invalueble today.
Bob, that has got to be one of my favorate models of charlows to date.

[Re: the previous page]

I love the Amherst cutlery swayback. Wow, do I wish there were more of those out there. I think they also made a peanut and probably some other patterns too.

I once had a small flashlight clipped on my hat brim like that a few years ago when I was cleaning out an old house and didn't have a proper headlamp.
As the day wears on you get used to having it on there, that is, until you see it come unclipped and fall into the toilet just as you reach down to flush. Ironically not one of my brighter moments

That's some nice jigging Derek

Have a great time Jack and you too~ ^perfect bread slicer right there

Thanks Tim, I came back tired from the sun, with a bag full of new acquisitions, and an empty wallet! :D

Thanks a lot Ron, hope that you're feeling better soon :) The bone looks splendid on your #79

I've got my Diamond Edge today. There's real diamonds in the edge!!!

A diamond for sure

Nice pocket selection Brett.

Congratulations, that is beautiful

Oh it was!

Thanks, I've softened and blended the covers. Feels like a pebble now:)

...Definitely thirsty here, a bit hot for us Brit's!!

It's been hot hasn't it Sam?! Hope you weren't out with the mad dogs ;) I managed to find sanctuary in a cool hostelry ;) :D

Great knives and pictures by everyone today! I wasn't going to post a picture until I got a new knife in the mail...but I can't seem to separate it from the magazine cover. I'll just have to use the Davison swayback to cut it out!!

Jack, what's the pearl-handled one lying horizontal just above center?

The only MOP-handled one is the one at the top. One of the blades is broken unfortunately, and there's no mark at all on the intact blade (there's a nub of the other which might yield something). The Sleeveboard in the centre is a Richards of Sheffield Swinden-key (much like Imperial) in cracked ice. In fact six of those knives are by Richards

I wish we had flea markets like that around here Jack. Nice haul.

Thanks Bob, I've been busy lately, but have had a couple of good hauls :) I picked up 4 Saynors on my previous trip

Many beautiful knives in this thread...

Today, working from home, I'm carrying (only) a large Douk-Douk.
(90mm blade). With many knives around, I probably won't even
reach into my pocket to use it. But in case I've got to run out in
a hurry, or whatever - I have it. Featherweight and very, very
sharp.

Only after a productive trip to the fleamarket of course! ;)
...

W:eek:W, Jack, productive doesn't begin to describe it!!:thumbup:
Looks like you scored heavily, sir!

A couple of the knives I'm carrying this week are this Colt stag bone sowbelly stockman, and a Schrade USA 93OT.
