What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I just love that ebony peanut, woodrow.
They call me the secret service, because I carry the pres everywhere.

Guess we can't talk anymore Dean  Jk I loved wearing my Sox cap while visiting friends in the Bronx.

Amazing story to accompany the ball Bob.

Well the story behind getting the autograph gets better, but unfortunately, this isn't the place for it. :o :D

What´s not like? An underrated pattern, imo. :)

The Talons/Eurekas are one of favorites. They're only second to the 15s.

Here's most frequently used EDC box (I made sure to crop the modern stuff out for Frank!)

Carrying the new salt-n-pepper Black Bone Broadway Jack today.

Well there's always Carl's Lounge Bob (don't think you're getting off THAT easy!) ;) :D

Beautiful workhorse Will, looks like it's gotten it's fair share and more some of work.

;)

Haha hey nothing wrong with that. It's a great frame, knife and the linen micarta grain is a very pleasing fine linear strain

Bob, that's a great pic of you barlow and baseball treasures. I appreciate both, being barlow fan and a third generation Boston fan.

It truly baffles me why I keep coming back to this Indian River Jack for daily carry. The fit and finish isn't great. The pull is a nail breaker. I don't like the KSF imprint on the leather. Makes it look like a salesman's sample or something. I do like the "Northwoods" imprint though.

In spite of my finding more faults with this knife than SOME of the dozens of other pocket knives I could easily choose from, this one is the one I often reach for before heading out the door.

Maybe it's the timeless classic design, high quality modern (super) steel, impeccable leather pocket sheath (finest leather I've been able to find off the shelf in a pocket knife sheath), the way it disappears in my pocket in the leather sheath and stays where I put it in my pocket, the heft and "hand" that screams "I can handle it" ... or something else ... dunno. All I know is the more I carry and use it the more I appreciate this thing and find myself dreaming of having more IRJs in different scale materials. BUT WHY GET MORE ?!?!?! ... there's nothing wrong with this one ... at all ;)
