What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The Broadway Jack helped finish off the fried mango ice-cream... Yummy! :-)

Thanks, Jack. :) You may ask about the Electrician's Knife covers, but I can't tell you what they are. Some kind of synthetic whose "marbled" coloring I find rather attractive, but I'm open to suggestions on how I might brighten them up a bit.

Thanks for the info GT, I think they look just fine, ditto the pile side of your Kudeman

Earl looks right at home Jack. :D I hate waiting for uploads also but we do appreciate the great photos.;)

Thanks Dave, I appreciate the kind words :)

Earl will be with me again today

GT Thanks for the Tortoise appreciation

The knife is one of GEC's best patterns in my view, the 33 Conductor: Smooth Bone, Jigged, Stag, Wood,Acrylic and in carbon and acorn shield stainless.

Regards, Will

Now, that's a cap lifter! I'm feeling thirsty.:)

Have a great evening folks!

Nice combination. Who made the fixed blade?

Thanks Tim & Joe for the kind words on yesterday's carry - much appreciated. Here's today's group - fast becoming a favorite:

That's a sweet little nugget. There's almost not enough blade for the etch!

Lovely little S&M Great "Fob Pocket" knife at 2 3/4 long

Here's some John Lloyd magic. I love these Catalin covers!

Looks like that's working out for you P, where do you carry, front or rear pocket?

Better yet: Side pocket most work days, a perfect non-deep rectangle with room for a bandana in front of the sheath-- for the sake of discretion and, of course, style. :D

I shall have to get a picture....

If not? Back pocket. The sheath works well in most of my front pockets as well, but is usually more comfortable in my back pocket-- especially when sitting.

[All depends on the location and depth of any particular pocket, which varies depending on the pants.]

I was GOING to add side pocket as an option! THAT makes sense to me. I suspect back pocket is something that you have to try, clearly more comfortable than it sounds

Again, again, all week, every day (with a caplifter knife here'n there):

It would be hard to break that habit.

I'm not so well organized, with my two folders jangling around in two separate pockets, along with keys, change, and everything else.

I'll probably carry the #38 whittler all weekend. Maybe I'll get a chance to whittle, but I doubt it. :)

My Northfield #72 begged to be carried today. It really is one of the most perfect knives I've ever owned. Wonderful craftsmanship. Excellent attention to detail. Superb heat treat on the blade. Beautifully jigged bone. Perfectly shaped clip blade. Gorgeous swedge. Nice long pull. Great bolster work. Unbelievably buttery smooth on opening. I need to find a way to carry this knife every day.
