What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Haha I can tell the Dunlap is a winner in your book David.

Thank you Ron, we did indeed, little moments to rest and relax a bit and let him run free are nice in the evenings.

I've got this lovely 73 with me this evening. I'll probably switch out for my kabar scout or my stockman when I head off to work tonight:) I haven't decided which yet😅:D have a wonderful evening everyone!!

Thanks GT !!!
I've had my eyes on a Cudeman for some time now. The wood on that one is amazing !!!
Much appreciated, Jim! :) I do like the wood on the Cudeman, but the other side isn't quite as nice, in my opinion. Here's a photo:

lambertiana and deskil, you're men of few words, but your pictures sure are eloquent!:thumbup: (Unfortunately, an inexperienced knife admirer like me often has no idea what he's looking at without a few syllables of ID. :o)

The usual…
...
Sweet Peanut, JAB!!:) I like your signature line, too, with the S. Hunter quote. Which of the Swagger men does it refer to, Bob of Earl?

A chip off the old block?

Fortunately not!:D:thumbup:

I think GEC's faux Tortoise is super material, glad to see it re-appearing on the Beerscout just this week.

...
Impressive Tortoise shell, Will! ;) What model of pen knife is displayed in the photo? It's very fetching!

...John Lloyd magical stag for me today..............:D
...
Mark, stunning stag (and awesome pocket slip)!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I just got back from a camping trip in the Sierras. While I carry my #73 most days, when I go outdoors it gets left at home and I take other cutting tools in its place. As soon as I got home I picked her up off the nightstand and dropped her back in my pocket where she belongs. I missed the old girl, she's become a treasured companion….

I've been drooling over the most recent run of stag 73s, but yours is also practically perfect, Christian! Wow!!:cool:

77 seemed like a good fit for today.
...
That's a marvelous 77, bleh! :thumbup::cool:

Primble Stockman
...
Gev, you have such wonderful, iconic old knives; amazing!:cool::cool:

...Nice to see your Kudeman GT, and what are the covers on the Electrician's Knife may I ask?
...
Thanks, Jack. :) You may ask about the Electrician's Knife covers, but I can't tell you what they are. Some kind of synthetic whose "marbled" coloring I find rather attractive, but I'm open to suggestions on how I might brighten them up a bit.

I was all about the Orange today! Osage Viper and Autumn Cadet :)

I even had me a Big Ole Diet Sunkist with my lunch today :D:eek::D
...
Fantastic Cadet, Ron! :D:thumbup: I'm contemplating purchasing an orange Cadet that is apparently a different color than your Autumn one.

This week I'm carrying a Case swayback jack (thanks, Paul) and a Colt teardrop jack.

Uhh huh - all orange huh? But not VOL orange ! I guess orange runs in the blood south of here. ;):D

The Viper does have a nice patina to the wood already - best Osage that I have seen so far. Guess I will get me a blue slushy tomorrow. ;):D:D

That's a great looking knife. Love the blade profile.

I had this Federal today.

Neat Federal Nate ! :thumbup::)

Nice wood on that 73 Ryan. I think you are fond of that one.:)

Shame, shame Primble!! You must now repent by carrying one in each pocket tomorrow!

It sure does qualify as a small fixed blade. Very comfortable 3 finger grip. As you can see in the last picture, they make it with really thick stock, so it's surprisingly stout. Came super sharp with a convex grind, and really easy to maintain with just a strop. This one's in 154CM, and I have zero complaints. Looks like the new ones are in Elmax.

Hope that helps :)

Nice Willamette Mike. I think all this rain has taken a toll on me. :o:D

Good thinking' Jake ! :D

Did I miss the memo? It's frozen over?

:eek: If the temperature drops, it might be. There surely is enough water standing. :D:thumbup::D

Did I miss the memo? It's frozen over?
The memo was supposed to be delivered to you by flying pig. We were assured of it by an honest politician. He may have been trapped in the snowstorm in Texas this fine cold July day.

Nice looking clip Dave :) They really are quite perfect in every way :D
Thanks Tim :D

John Lloyd magical stag for me today..............:D

clutchcarter, your John Lloyd really is magical:thumbup:

Tim and Dave, those 15s look great.

Earl looks right at home Jack. :D I hate waiting for uploads also but we do appreciate the great photos.;)
