Thinking about building an Ark for my knife pics. Another 1.6 inches of rain last night - 1.75 the day before, and around ten inches for July. More forecast for today. :grumpy:

Thank you again Paul !

I'll carry this Boker USA Electrician and this dogleg Winchester this week.

Boy, that main on the Dogleg really looks like the best combo of a spear and clip that I've ever seen. The use of a spear, but with enough of the pointiness of a clip ready when needed.

Well, for me it's this beauty of a beast today................
If you're not careful with this on it could put a nice scar on you!

The satg on that is awesome Mark! John makes a great knife and that is a beauty!

I should probably rotate my knives out a bit more but several have been just stuck in my pocket for quite a while.

Great photo Tim. The knives compliment each other.

I made 5-6 or these 5 5/8" monsters and all but one ended up in Mexico where the ranchers use them for daily chores.....like making girls out of boys......!!

Thank God I am not cattle John! I get a pain below my belt just thinking about what that knife does!:D

Carrying these today.

Nice pair Dean! :)

Thank you again Paul !

Rob, you photography is outstanding, glad I taught you :barf::eek: and that is a beautiful knife! Call me if you need help building an Ark! I will call Evan Almighty, aka Steve Carell! :D

Two great knives Mike! That whittler has some awesome Crimson color!

Tim...That picture really shows off the fine lines of the clip.

Crazy Canuck, the silver cadet combos well with practically any knife, got one on the way.

Bleh, the stag on that one is amazing, the ridges and valleys and the shield placed perfectly in a valley does make this a perfect worry stone. hope everything will be ok:thumbup:

have my Schrade today

CSC in Rams Horn. On a single spring serpentine frame with rounded bolsters it's easy to forget this one is over 4 inches long. These blades are laser sharp.

SENSATIONAL interior smooth Ram's Horn! Wottalooker:thumbup::thumbup: Particularly with the mod you made. Is that the same frame as this year's pending Forum Knife? I more than like a single-spring two blade set-up.:D

Regards, Will

Thanks will - I'm liking this one quite a bit. It seems like it may be the same frame Eric has planned for the forum knife. I just couldn't wait. LOL.

This came in yesterday, I'm in love with it! The back spring is stronger than I expected; my girlfriend couldn't even open it. I'll definitely by buying more GEC in the future.

...GT, I don't know how I missed the pic of your soddie jr the first time around  sorry about that:o
The bone on it is simply stellar!!👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks, Ryan! :) I have a couple of Case CV chestnut jigged bone knives, and I want more!

Beautiful Northwoods, Jim, but the 1964 Kennedy half-dollar kind of distracted me - great coin!:cool:

Typically, my 'week off' started with rotten weather, which looks like it might be in for the week, and I've been having to fit my time off round the bits of work I still have to do, but it's certainly better than the past couple of weeks! :D Hope you get some time off soon my friend
Glad to hear you're getting some kind of respite, Jack!;)

As others have pointed out (in a much more timely fashion), that's a FINE Eric's Jack you have there, Dave!:thumbup:

...GT - That is a versatile pair your Totin' my friend:):D
...Nice GT !!!...
...They both look to be in great shape GT ... Earl is going to help me do some long overdue knife maintenance and cleaning though :)...

Ron, Primble, Jack, and Grump1, thanks for the encouraging words; much appreciated! :)
Jack, I wish I were in as great a shape as my knives!:D Is your knife clean-up related to the "oil fiasco" you've mentioned in the past? Good luck!
Grump1, I've never looked at it the way you describe it, but you're right, that Winchester blade is sort of a clip/spear hybrid.

...#73 Stag today...
I've admired the stag of your 73 before, Paul, but now it looks even better with the patina you've got going!!:thumbup::thumbup:

All these today, not at once though
...
Cargo pants and a fishing vest can fix that. ;)
That's great advice! :D:D Mark, that's a fundamentally fantastic fivesome you have there!!:cool: I feel kind of bad for your Osage orange 73; I've drooled over the beauty of that knife before, but it almost "pales in comparison" to the other stunning knives you have it hanging out with!:D

CSC in Rams Horn. On a single spring serpentine frame with rounded bolsters it's easy to forget this one is over 4 inches long. These blades are laser sharp….
That's a VERY striking knife, Lemmy!!:thumbup: Superb blade reprofile as well! It's like a large pen knife version of a toothpick, if that makes any sense! :o:cool::cool:

Parlez vous francais? Ooo-la-la! Habla Espanol? Ole'! Konne Sie Schwitzerdutsch reese? Yodel-ay-ee-oh! Obviously, I'm not fluent in any of these European languages, but I feel downright Continental this week carrying a French Opinel #6, a Spanish Joker, and a Swiss Vic Huntsman!

Thank you Harry, I appreciate not only your compliment but admiring your Stag #73 as well. You, Mark and Ryan played a significant role in my purchase;):thumbup:

I am sorry Paul , but you must give Ryan and Mark all of the credit. I did not order mine until July 6 , 2015. You first posted yours on June 23 . I was going to get the Cocobolo until I saw how nice the Stag was running on all of your guys 73's.

Harry

Thanks GT. I know what you're saying about the toothpick aspect. They share the slim serpentine frame and long muskrat clip. That's what drew me to the CSC single spring muskrat for ideal EDC once modified. There are also hawbaker muskrats with longer wharncliffs but I tend to prefer my secondary blade to be smaller for more precise tasks. And I decided to profile it as a coping blade so it'd be a little stouter behind the tip and very easy to repoint should it round off with use. I make collages from time to time and a coping blade is ideal for cutting out images and such. Oh and I really like smooth Rams horn it has a lot of depths, some parts striated and other parts totally translucent. I think if GEC did something like this on their 82 frame I'd order one in a heartbeat.
